Readers POV

I opened my eyes slowly to be blinded by gleaming sunshine and I sat up as my cloak slid off my body and rested on my lap. I gasped when I bounced up and a horse neighed and I looked around at what was left of the Survey Corps.

"Eren?" I gasped and looked around.

"He's fine," I looked at Levi and wiped my eyes with the back of my Hand, blood and dirt wiping off onto my pale skin.

"And the kid?" I whispered.

"In the carriage over there," he pointed to a secluded carriage guarded by around ten soldiers.

"Can I see Eren?!" I couldn't hide my excitement and worried tone.

"Careful," he held his hand out and I took it as I jumped onto his horse. I touched my mud stained gear and tightened the straps around my legs and looked around.

"Its peaceful," I murmured.

"For now," he grumbled as he slowed down and I looked inside the cart and smiled.

"Eren wake up!" I tumbled.over and squeaked when I landed across his body and he groaned.

"Hey you're crushing me," I looked st him as he looked at me through his drowsy emerald colored eyes.

"You're ok!" He sat up and hugged me and I smiled and snuggled into him.

"Hey Eren..." I whispered when he kissed my cheeks.

"Mind adopting a kid with me?" I smiled.

"Fine whatever just stay with me forever," he whispered.

"I will! I promise!" I smiled when he looked down at me.

"You still love me even if I look horrible?" I murmured.

"I'll forever love you (Y/N)," he brushed my bangs from my face and I smiled at his gentle touch.

"Hmm?" I sat up and looked around. Titans...

"Wait," I muttered and looked closer.

"That's the cart... With the kid," my eyes widened.

"(Y/N) don't," Eren grabbed my hand and I gulped.

"The soldiers don't see them!" I cried.

"I can't let that kid die!" I looked around and scrambled away as I took one of the two horses pulling this wagon. I twisted around and brought my bottom up as the horse picked up speed. That kid... I almost died for her...

"Back the hell off!" I felt the ground graze me when I grappled the titan and swung up. I let out a small breathe when I spun down and my swords sliced flesh easily as I kicked off the decaying corpse that fell and sliced the ankles of the second titan.

"(Y/N)!" A scream pierced my ears and I looked around in horror for it as I ran towards the titan. No trees which meant... I pressed the triggers, the hooks latching the titans as I swung past them and kicked off one. I smacked the ground and rolled as I coughed and sat up, spitting out dirt. I looked up to see the titans turn to me as the horse ran up and I jumped on it.

"Two decisions, go back into formation and lead the titans or break off and find my way back," I thought out loud as I panicked and took my second option of twisting around.

"Levi please remember..." I whispered as he turned to me and I brought my hands up in the signs we learned together.
Wait...for...me
He nodded slightly and I smiled when he went up to Erwin.

"Come on you're faster!" I gasped when the titans gained. I smiled as it picked up speed and we began outrunning the titans...

"Yes!" I cried in joy as I twisted back to find them. I saw the wall come into view and I kept going left. If I'm lucky I'll find them...

"Levi!" I smiled as I rode up and went inside the wall.

"Idiot!" He smacked me across my head and I looked around at the people.

Levi's face was grief stricken when Petra's dad came up and I listened in horror. She died by the hands of the female titan... The titan that wiped out our flank and killed so many soldiers... I swallowed hard and kept going silently.
