3rd POV
Ruby walked back inside of the base, Weiss helping Blake get the soldier off of her.
Weiss: what....the hell....just happened? Yang!
She went over to Yang who was shot.
Yang: that stings.
Ruby looked at her sister on the ground, wincing in pain before turning around and looking at the fallen soldiers.
Solider: damn....that was my brother.
Soldier: I'm sorry for your loss.
She looked at the massive hole in the wall caused by Y/N, then noticing that someone was right in front of him when he went though, intestine on some of the sharpened metal.
Ironwood: All forces report.
Ironwood spoke on his scroll, he was sweating and his eyes filled with rage, his voice stern and ready for war.
Pilot: what is it General?
Ironwood: we will find L/N and we will kill him on sight, he is a danger to others and must be put down. Consider him armed and dangerous.
He put down his scroll and looked at the two soldiers.
Ironwood: check the Radar's history and check the direction of where that ship went, it can give us a good start on where to search.
Ruby: sir, Y/N was only under the Paladin's control, he didn't mean for this to ha-
Ironwood: I don't want to hear it. I have to call countless families, I have to keep my eye on this battle your friend has brought more into light. The Paladin will pay for his crimes... but the threat that is Y/N L/N, the Indominus Rex, must be handled first. Go with your team, and stay out of the military's way. We tried this the easy way and now....he caused this all.
Ironwood walked off with some soldiers behind him, Ruby then sat down against the wall, her hands balled into fists as she thought about it. She then stood up and followed Ironwood closer to the radar room.
Qrow: R-ruby.
Glynda: stay down, you need rest.
Ruby ignored her uncle and walked closer and waited outside. Ironwood stood by a bunch of corpses and looked at the radar.
Ironwood: so....heading to that island huh? It's about ten Klicks to the north.
The moment Ruby heard this she ran down the halls, catching Ironwood's attention with the noise. He ran out of the room and saw her leave through the massive hole.
Ironwood: someone stop her!
Blake quickly stood up and ran out the whole to try and stop Ruby.
Blake: Ruby! Don't do this!
Ruby: I'm sorry Blake.
She launched herself backwards and aimed at Blake, cocking the gun and firing a bolt of electricity at her, sending Blake back a few meters and to her back, not hurting her, more just stunning her.
Ruby ran to the bullhead and got on.
Pilot: uh ma'am you shouldn't be on here.
Ruby pulled out her gun and aimed it at the pilot.
Ruby: then leave.....I don't have time for this.
The pilot put his hands up in fear, looking at the angry teenage girl.
Pilot: t-the General will hear about this.
Ruby: then arrest me for it, I have a personal mission.
Qrow ran from the base, holding his arm as he followed the rose petals trailed from Ruby. The pilot ran from the Bullhead as Qrow ran past the downed Blake and scared pilot.
Qrow: Ruby! Don't do this! There's another way!
The bullhead launched up and the mic went on.
Ruby: I'm sorry....but I have no choice, he doesn't deserve to die because of his...slavery, I can't allow you to hunt him like a dog....not anymore.
The bullhead then launched north, Ironwood had his scroll in his hand, then crushed it out of pure rage.
Weiss: we need to go after her.
Ironwood: no you're not! You all go to your homes.....I can not allow any more to go against me today.
