3rd POV
A boy laid on the floor of a cell, shirtless, covered in scars, both fresh and old. It has been one year since he has been tortured....turned to nothing more than a slave to the Paladin of Blood.
The sound of the cell door opened, a feminine figure walked over to Y/N and tapped him with her boot.
????: L/N.
Y/N slowly turned to look at her. He had fear in his eyes, as he began to breathe heavily.
?????: The Paladin is beginning Phase 2 of the plan. Beacon will fall, I hope you're ready for a slaughter.
He shook his head yes as she grabbed him by his hair and pulled him to his feet.
?????: you will be cleaned. The Paladin believes the best way to kill someone is to be respectful.
Y/N walked with the female as she threw him into a room. She pressed a button next to the door, the sound of locks was heard. The sound of pipes was heard within the room, within seconds water shot out of the pipes, and the sound of Y/N screaming in agony as the cold water shot against him with the same force as a riot control fire hose.
Y/N: I'M SORRY!
His screams echoed through the halls of the facility as the female outside the door remained monotone.

Meanwhile at Beacon
Yang and Weiss were playing a board game as Blake read from her book. Ruby was no where to be seen around.
She sat on the roof of Beacon Academy looking out into the distance. The sound of walking was heard walking closer to her. It was Pyrrha, who then sat down next to Ruby.
Pyrrha: Hey Ruby.

Ruby grew her hair out quite a bit, she gave a small smile when she saw Pyrrha.
Pyrrha: how are you doing?
Ruby: good....
Pyrrha: what are you doing on the roof?
Ruby: thinking....drawing....you know the usual.
Pyrrha: can I see what you are drawing?
Ruby: sure.
Ruby handed the art book to Pyrrha who then looked at the Rose, not yet colored.
Pyrrha: this looks really good Ruby. Honestly wish I could draw like that.
Ruby: I've been drawing a lot for the past few months, keeps my mind off things so there's little to no worry with the world around us. Helps me think about if things were different as well....if my mom wasn't dead. She was always nice to me....just wish she was the same to Y-.......
Pyrrha put her arm around Ruby.
Pyrrha: everything will be fine. Once we know the new location I bet Ozpin will let us go.
Meanwhile in the office
Ozpin: they are not going!
Qrow: let me go then.
Ozpin: it's the Paladin! I won't send anyone!
Qrow: I want revenge for Summer!
Ozpin: I know she was broken after her time with the Paladin....Tai called and told me all about it. You know....Yang was just a small child when all of that happened. You called Glynda to watch her while you four went to help her. It's a shame she wasn't the same after that.
Qrow: that's why I want revenge! I might as well pop one in Y/N to, after all she snapped her neck after the fall caused by him.
Ozpin: just calm down. I also don't think you're serious about that, after all you did abuse him. I saw the scars on his arm, so if you are thinking of going to an island with him unsupervised you have another thing coming!
Qrow: I just.....I don't know anymore.
Ozpin: Ruby needs her Uncle and her friend.
