3rd POV
Five years have passed, Ruby Rose has yet to be found and presumed dead by most of the world. Ironwood sat in his office with a hologram of men and women in his military, all running near the same rank.
?????: sir, we've searched all over Vale, she isn't here.
Ironwood: she needs to be found, she murdered an unarmed man that we could've questioned and stopped.
??????: sir.....she is not in Vale......And besides, you executed the order to shoot an unarmed man.
Ironwood: he could've transformed at any time, I had to do it for the safety of my men and women at arms.
?????: then why didn't he? We listened to the audio files, only to find out that your soldiers knew he was unarmed, and had plenty of time to do so.
Ironwood: he was a priority target, if I let him get any closer it could've killed us all. I lost almost 100 good soldiers because of him.
??????: I see.....we will continue to have our soldiers look.....sir.

In the middle of a forest
A female sat on a log with a flame roaring in front of her. She threw a can of beans to the side before wiping her face with her sleeve. It was Ruby, she was alive, and surviving.

She has been wandering Remnant for the last 5 years, thinking everyday about what her life with Y/N could've been like. She then reached for a guitar that was right next to her and placed it across her lap, getting ready to play.
Ruby began strumming before stopping and sighing.
Ruby tightened her eyes as a tear went out and placed her guitar next to her by the fire. She began to mess with the fire some, allowing more air to get to it so it can be a little brighter and warmer. She then put down her backpack on the ground and went down on the ground with it, using it as a pillow.
Ruby: food supplies are running low. I'm going to have to go find a settlement soon that hasn't been destroyed by Grimm....for some reason thought I haven't seen that much of them around these parts so my hopes are high.
She closed her eyes and went to bed for the night. The fire continued cracking by her, keeping her warm with the winds howling in the night, the winds sound like the now calming roars of the Indominus Rex. A tear formed in her eye before wiping it away.

Timeskip 6 hours

Ruby woke up and walked into the settlement, though it was much more like a town. She walked to the general store and grabbed some cans of food and walked over to the cashier.
Cashier: that will be ten lien.
Ruby paid the man and placed the cans in her backpack, then threw it over her shoulder and walked out. Two police officers noticed her walking out of the store and looked at the notification on their scroll from higher ups.
Police: Hey....we want to talk to you.
Ruby knew exactly for what it was for, she made a run for it.
Police: Damn! Call in back up.
The officers ran after her, before she went into one of the vacated buildings and locked the door. The police went to the door and tried opening it.
Police: Ruby Rose! You are under arrest! Come out with your hands up!
Ruby pulled out her weapon inside the building, she slowly moved her hand, cocking the gun. She then let a breathe out and closed her eyes. Her mind went to Y/N before she quickly opened her eyes.
Everything faded to black and a gun shot was heard within the darkness.
