Nathaniel:

It was sunset, we held floating lanterns in our hands as we pushed the little balls of light up into the sky. Letting all thoughts disappear, it was just me and her on the rocky grounds. Stinger and I, newly married, together forever.

Soren- meaning strong or stern. It was the perfect name for us. Stinger's song inspired the word into my heart. Our last name, Soren. It was perfect. Nathaniel and Stinger Soren.

"Alright everyone!" Alvin yells above all my friends. "Give your attention to the maid of honor, Glow!"

The crowd applauds. I look at Stinger, my new bride, as she sits beside me. She doesn't have a dress or a vail, I promised her a proper wedding once we find a portal.

"I would like to give a toast to the groom and the bride." Glow began. "Stinger was always one everyone's list to get married, but she herself never had a list."

The sun sets across the horizon, Stinger's white hair glowing in the sunlight, casting shadows onto her pale flawless face. I am the luckiest person alive.

"May you stay together forever." Glow raised her cup. "Happily ever after."

"Amen!" We shouted, taking a swig of our drinks.

"I would like to say something." I stood up, looking into my new bride. "From the second I saw you, I think we both knew this would be the outcome."

Alvin snickered.

"Anyways." I continued. "I just want to say that I am the happiest man alive right now, and nobody, not my brothers or my father can ruin this."

I sat back down, Stinger smiled and kissed me. The air was getting cold, Skadi suggested we head into the barn.

"Stop the wedding!" I heard a screech, Vector flew in, changing back to human form.

"Vector what's wrong?" Alvin asked, running to her side.

"Nothing about the wedding." Vector was breathing heavily. "Just the Saxons found a portal."

"What!" We all gasped.

"Hurry before they discover its missing." She threw a tiny leather bag at me.

I untied the string and opened the pouch. Vector had found it, the tiny little glowing portal. It was around the size of a marble, with a galaxy swirling inside.

"I can't believe it." I smiled. "Vector you did it!"

"Hurry!" She begged. "They might of seen me take it."

"Ok, everyone get inside the barn." I ordered. "We will all need to join hands and then-"

I felt a sharp pain on my neck, then I fell to the ground, my knees having with pain from the rocks.

"Nathaniel!" I heard an echo of Stinger's scream.

"Everyone get in the barn!" Uriah took off running. "Every man for himself!"

My vision blurred in and out, I swear I was dreaming when I say I saw a Snitch. The most horrifying creature to a Zodiac. A Snitch was inventing by my uncle, it's a genetically modified mosquito, used to suck the power of any Zodiac with power. It looks much like a normal mosquito, but a bit bigger and it was dark blue with a glowing green stripe down it's back.

"Nathaniel." Stinger tried to shake me awake.

"Stinger get inside." Alvin pulled her off the ground. "I'll carry him in."

I felt my power slowly draining from that bite, but I still had a bit left in me.

"Heal, Seal, Maintain." I muttered, I felt my legs wake up as Alvin tried to support me as I walked. Alvin couldn't carry me by himself, he could barely lift me with his bad leg.

"Nathaniel wake up!" He gridded his teeth. "Snap out of it!"

"Alvin." I muttered, he dropped my arm, I was able to walk by myself. "It's after me, I'm a Zodiac with a crap ton of power."

"What do you mean?"

"A Snitch."

"Oh those nasty little buggers." Alvin tried to pull me along. "You need to get inside."

"No I need to kill it before it repopulates." I cringed at the pain building over my healing. "Get inside the barn with everyone else, I don't know what sent this here but it can't be far behind."

"Nathaniel-"

"Protect them." I looked him in the eyes. "Please."

Alvin nodded and ran into the barn, closing and locking the door behind him. I fall back onto my knees, I will not let everyone die or get captured like I did last time. I will not hide like a coward anymore.

I scan my surroundings, looking for that nasty bug. My eyes sharpen as the green stripe glitters in the sunset. I gotcha.
