Nathaniel:

We huddle against each other as the man continues to knock and yell for us to open up. Stinger holds her breath and shifts closer to me, I put my arm around her.

"Nobody move a muscle." Stinger whispered, pronouncing each word like each one is a sentence.

"Really?" Alvin sasses. "Because I was just about to dance around."

"Alvin." Stinger groans.

The door slams open in front of us. We all freeze like statures. In walks a man with a strong stride, Pheven the specialist clenching into Glow's wrist.

"Look here." Pheven states, throwing Glow at our feet. "Looks like your friend isn't reliable."

Three other men follow him in, they grab us all and put us in chains, dragging us to the galley.

"I am sorry." Glow cries. "I only had a few drinks."

We all glare at her. Then I notice that Uriah is still missing. Maybe he at least has a chance of escaping when the rest of us don't.

I shouldn't guess my luck too soon, through the crowd emerges Uriah, covered in blood and the knife still in his hand.

"Really?" I roll my eyes. "I am surrounded by idiots."

The guards jump onto Uriah, removing the blade from his hard hands before tying him to the rest of us. We continue to walk on through the streets, a block away from being hanged.

That's when I get an idea. Azun always told me to use your own strengths and not others. I may not be very good at fighting but I do have a sharp tongue.

"You know what Pheven." I get his attention, using all my power into my words. "You should just let us go."

"Ok." Pheven says, unlocking the chains that binds us. "You can go."

"Sleep." I click my tongue. Pheven falls to the mud, knocked out.

"How did you?" Glow begins to ask.

"Don't ask questions." I kick the chains aside and grab Pheven's weapons. "Lets move!"

My friends run with me down the road, I head in the direction of Stinger's house, she yells at me directions as we race through the muddy streets. We don't stop till we are inside and the doors and windows are all locked.

"Is it a bad time to point out that I could form some actual magic to get us out of that situation?" Magistrate pants.

"What?" I gasp.

"He can." Alvin states. "I've seen it. Back on my planet we had the same professor."

"Wait so you know magic too?"

"No I know science, he knows magic."

"Wait does everyone have a secret they aren't telling me?" I direct to them all.

"I can talk with fireflies." Glow states. "Telepathically."

"I can transform into animals," Vector smiles. "But you all know that."

"I can run like crazy fast." Stinger points out. "Like seriously, fast."

"Really?" I gasp at their abilities, I thought they were all useless commoners. "I guess I should tell you I am a Zodiac."

"What!" They all yell. "You are the Nathaniel?"

"Yeah." I sigh. "I have wings, healing, telekinesis and teleportation."

"Wow." Glow's eyes are about to burst.

"Well I guess it is my turn." Uriah states. "I am not from another planet but my parents were. I think I inherited daqavoo."

"Why?"

"I have been seeing us getting our hands on a portal and going to another planet."

"A portal!"

"Yeah."

"Oh my!" I stand up, moving around. "You guys we must go find this portal!"

"I saw you pick it up in the grass Nathaniel."

"Let's go!"

I race out the door my friends follow me willingly. Time to get off this prison and get back to Malison. Time to get back to Azun.
