We rendezvous at a barn Skadi owns. Most of us make it there, I have no clue where Uriah, Alvin and Glow are. Vector flew in saying Alvin was on his way a few minutes ago.

I can't believe I killed a man.

I can still see him falling. I can't erase that image from my mind. It's like when Azun bought me a puppy for my sixth birthday. Mike and Luke jumped on my case about it being my responsibility, the puppy, and all that came with it. Azun explained to me that I was like the puppy's father. I needed to let it do its own thing but protect it in times of need. Long story short, I let the puppy wander off a bit too far one day and it founds its way into the road. Azun helped me search for it for hours in the grass and trees behind our house. It wasn't till Luke came storming over to me and dragged me all the way to the road to find that my puppy got hit my a truck. I never stopped crying that day. The image of my pet still burns into my mind.

Stinger sits beside me, out shoulders a few inches apart. She looks at me, trying to see if I want to talk, I don't.

"Guys." Alvin rushes through the barn doors on horseback, he quickly jumps off. "Uriah is not coming back."

"What happened?" Stinger asked, eager to know about her cousin.

"I don't actually know." Alvin stated. "But a sergeant ran out of the house screaming murder and I took that as my cue to leave."

"Is my cousin ok?" Stinger pleaded to know.

"I don't know."

"Please Alvin!"

"I honestly don't know Stinger."

Stinger falls onto my shoulder in despair. Only her two cousins were missing, her family, everyone she cared for.

I hear a bang on the door, we all stop. Nobody breaths. We hear a man shout.

"Open up!"
