Assalâmu 'alaykum warahmatullâh wabarakâtuh.

Dear readers:

This is not a new book. Rather, it was a book I began more than a year ago. Though originally my idea, with some touch-up to the first draft of the plot, it was written as a collaboration with another writer. My co-writer, for personal reasons of her own, decided to leave, so I added the story into my solo works.

I made the decision to do a rewrite of what we had done so far. I took down the entire book and planned it out entirely as well as rewriting former chapters that had been previously done. It took a good amount of time, but I finally completed it.

If you, dear reader, know my writing, you will recognize that this book is a bit different than my other books. It is my first attempt at the crime\thriller genre; and truth be told, it also contains some content which will require a lot of research on my part, making it a difficult book to write. Nevertheless, I've become quite attached to this story and I'm going to give it my best shot.

The story will tackle the growing issue of Islâmophobia on a much larger scale than mentioned in my other books. It will also go into substance abuse, addiction, and depression.

The main theme of the book is this:

Despite how bad someone may seem or the type of things he or she may be doing, there is good that you may not be aware of; and despite how unlikely it may seem, sometimes the most unexpected of people enter Islâm at the most unexpected of times.
