As Abhira's breathing slowed, Armaan's hold on her tightened, his fingers gently stroking her hair.
He whispered softly, "I'm so sorry, Abhira. I'm sorry for everything. I promise to make it right, to be there for you, always."
Abhira's hands, still clinging to Armaan's shirt, relaxed slightly, her fingers unfolding like petals.
She leaned back, her eyes, red-rimmed and puffy, locking onto Armaan's. For a moment, they just stared, the air thick with emotion.
Then, Abhira's lips, still trembling, curved into a faint smile. It was a fragile, tentative smile, but it was a start. Armaan's face mirrored hers, his eyes shining with tears and gratitude.
"I have one condition," Abhira said, her voice firm and resolute, her eyes flashing with a mix of determination and vulnerability.
"I want you to walk away from Poddar Mansion and leave Udaipur behind. This city, this mansion, they hold too many painful memories for me. Every corner, every room, every breath I take here is a reminder of the heartache and the betrayal I've endured."
Her gaze locked onto Armaan's, her eyes boring into his soul, searching for any sign of hesitation or uncertainty. "I want a fresh start, a chance to build a new life with you, free from the shadows of our past. I want to wake up every morning with a sense of hope and possibility, not with the weight of yesterday's sorrows. Can you do that for me, Armaan? Can you leave it all behind and start anew?"
Armaan's eyes held Abhira's, his expression a reflection of the turmoil brewing inside him.
He knew that leaving Poddar Mansion and Udaipur would mean walking away from his family's legacy, from the only life he had ever known.
But as he looked into Abhira's eyes, he knew that he couldn't afford to lose her again.
"Abhira," he said, his voice low and husky, "I'll do anything to make you happy. I'll leave Poddar Mansion, I'll leave Udaipur. I'll start fresh with you, wherever you want to go. But you have to promise me one thing."
Abhira's eyes narrowed slightly, her brow furrowing in curiosity. "What's that?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Armaan's face inches from hers, his breath caressing her skin. "You have to promise me that you'll never leave me again," he whispered, his eyes burning with intensity. "You have to promise me that you'll stay with me, no matter what."
"Will you leave your brother all alone, Abhira?" Abhir asked, making playful faces at his sister. Abhira's face lit up with a warm smile as she walked over to her brother.
She wrapped her arms around him in a tight hug, holding him close. "Never, bhai," she whispered, her voice filled with affection.
Abhir's face softened, and he hugged her back, feeling grateful for the unconditional love and support they shared.
Abhir's face turned red with mock anger as he declared, "So, jija ji, I'm going with you both! If you make my sister cry again, I'll kill you!!" He clenched his fists and took a step forward, his eyes blazing with fake fury.
Armaan joined his hands together in a gesture of mock surrender. "Ji saale saab!" he exclaimed, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "I promise to be on my best behavior and not make your sister cry... again. I swear on my favorite cricket team that I'll be a perfect husband and not give Abhira any reason to shed a tear."
Abhira rolled her eyes good-naturedly and playfully hit Abhir on the arm. "Stop being so dramatic, BHAI," she teased, smiling at her brother's antics. "Armaan is a good man, and I know he'll take care of me."
Abhir's expression softened, and he grinned at his sister. "I know, Abhira. I just want to make sure he knows that he has to answer to me if he ever hurts you." He turned to Armaan and winked. "You're a lucky man to have my sister as your wife. Just remember, I'm always watching."
...........
As they sat together in the balcony of their Mumbai flat, the warm breeze carried the sweet scent of blooming flowers and the sound of gentle chirping.
Abhira and Armaan snuggled closer, feeling grateful for a second chance at happiness. The trauma of the past few months seemed to fade away as they basked in the serenity of the moment.
Abhir, sensing the peaceful atmosphere, took out his guitar and began to play soft, melodious music.
The notes danced in the air, weaving a spell of calmness and contentment. Abhira closed her eyes, letting the music wash over her, and felt her heart fill with joy and gratitude.
Armaan wrapped his arms around Abhira, holding her close as they swayed gently to the music. The stars twinkled above, and the city lights sparkled below, creating a magical ambiance that enveloped them in its warmth.
As Abhir's music filled the night air, the three of them felt their hearts heal, their bond strengthen, and their love for each other deepen. In this moment, they knew that they had been given a rare gift – a second chance at happiness – and they vowed to cherish it forever.
In perfect harmony, Abhira and Abhir exclaimed, "Well, I have a news to share!!" Their voices were filled with excitement and anticipation, echoing through the room like a sweet melody.
Abhir's eyes sparkled with mischief as he gestured for Abhira to go first, his smile broadening to reveal a hint of pride.
"You tell first, Abhira," he said, his voice trembling with emotion.Abhira's face glowed with a soft, ethereal smile as she took a deep breath, savoring the moment.
Her eyes locked onto Armaan's, and her voice trembled with joy as she announced, "Well... well... I'm pregnant!"
The words seemed to hang in the air, suspended in a moment of pure elation, as if time itself had stopped to revel in the wonder of it all.
Armaan's eyes widened in stunned delight, and then a radiant grin spread across his face, illuminating the room with its brilliance.
"Really?! Oh, Abhira! We're going to be parents!" he exclaimed, his voice cracking with emotion as he swept Abhira into a tender, all-encompassing hug.
Tears of joy streamed down his face, mingling with Abhira's happy tears as they held each other close, basking in the warmth of the moment.
Abhir's face lit up with jubilation, and he pumped his fist in the air, letting out a triumphant whoop. "I'm going to be an uncle! Oh, this is amazing news!"
He joined in the hug, wrapping his arms around Abhira and Armaan, holding them close as if he never wanted to let them go.
The three of them stood there, lost in the beauty of the moment, their hearts overflowing with love, joy, and anticipation for the new life that was on its way.
Abhira's curiosity got the better of her, and she turned to Abhir with a mischievous grin. "What was your news, bhai?!"
she asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement.Abhir's face turned a shade pinker as he smiled sheepishly.
"Uhmm, I think it's time for me to get settled, you know what I mean, right?!" He raised an eyebrow, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
Abhira's eyes widened in surprise, and then a sly smile spread across her face. "Ohh, so my elder brother has been liking a girl! Who's that lucky girl?" she teased, her voice dripping with playful sarcasm.
Armaan chuckled, and Abhir's face turned an even deeper shade of pink.Abhir playfully rolled his eyes, trying to maintain a nonchalant demeanor.
"Shut up, Abhira! It's not like that," he protested, but Abhira just laughed, knowing that her brother's denials only confirmed her suspicions.
"Come on, bhai, spill the beans! Who is she?" Abhira asked, her curiosity getting the better of her.
