Raven's POV

While we were on the way to the shop, Annabel began her story. "When I was a child, I had a dream about being in a field of snow. It turned into a field of white feathers after an angel named Arabella appeared. She was one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen! Her hair.." I interrupted briefly,"Uh, Annabel how does describe the angel relate to this?" Annabel scowled at me, wrinkling her nose. "Hold on I'm getting there! Anyways, so then Arabella told me to go to London, although I have no idea why she did that. She then disappeared and I woke up. Outside my window was a trail of small white feathers. I followed it all the way to London. Later, I went home and found that an angel had burned my manor down and killed everyone. The angel started to chase me until I was cornered. Then they lunged at me and the whole world went black." Annabel stopped for a minute to take a deep breath. I hesitantly asked, "Is that why you are killing angels?" She nodded. "I am so sorry for your loss, Annabel." She rolled her eyes. "Don't be. I'm strong enough to handle this. We should probably make a camp here, it's getting dark." I looked up, realizing that the sky was now orange-pinkish. We both set up camp and decided that I would take the first watch.

*Time Skip to the Next Day*

Annabel's POV

Raven and I started to walk again after getting rid of the camping spot. It was quiet, so I decided to ask Raven something. "Raven, are you a hunter too?" Raven stopped walking and glared at me. "Why do you ask, Annabel?" She said in a quiet, angry tone. Suddenly I regretted asking that question. "Forget it! Forget I said anything!!" I started to back up slowly. Raven sighed, playing with a strand of her hair. "Look, it's complicated." "I just told you my story!!" I exclaimed,"Now you should tell me yours!!" Raven let out a deep sigh. "Fine, you are right. I am a hunter." "What kind of hunter??" I questioned. "Demon," Raven said solemnly. I was shocked. "A demon hunter?! That's harder than angel hunter!!" Raven snapped,"Do you want to hear my story or not?!" I nodded. "Then shut up and keep walking. I'll tell you on the way to the shop!" "Ok," I whispered. She took a deep breath. "A few years ago, I lived in a small town where everyone knew each other. I had a best friend, a good family, and friendly neighbors. One afternoon, my best friend, whose name was James, and I were playing at a small lake at the edge of the town when all of a sudden, it became dark. Then we both saw a human with large black wings and red eyes. I realized that it was a demon. He set fire to our town, destroying everything that I knew. I ran to my home, yelling, "'MOTHER!! FATHER!!! SISTER!!!'" I saw them outside of the house, dead. Someone had carved in bits of demon writing in their flesh. My family's blood stained the ground, turning the grass into a shade of deep red. A few moments later, James ran toward me. "'Raven!! Are you alright?!'" "I'm alright...'" He gasped, looking at my former parents and sister. "'Oh my goodness!! What happened to your family?! We need to get out of here before it's too late!'" We ran away from my house with no clue as to where we were going. A few months later, James and I had an argument about where to go next. He wanted to go to London, but I wanted to stay in the little town that we were currently in. He left for London a few days later and I stayed. I never saw him ever again. Eventually, I got bored and decided to hunt for demons. I knew about the shop because of a man called Undertaker. I wandered into his shop one day and he offered me a dog biscuit. We talked for a while, and I mentioned I was a demon hunter. He chuckled and asked me if I had killed any demons yet. I told him no because I tried to kill one with cutlery I had found. He chuckled, saying that demons could only be killed by certain weapons that could only be found in one shop. I asked where was the shop's location and he said he would tell me if I made him laugh. I eventually made him laugh and Undertaker said that the shop was in the middle of the forest. So that is how I know about the shop which we are in front of right now."
