Annabel's POV
When Arabella told me that she would like to talk to Raven in private, I got immediately suspicious. What did she want to talk to Raven about that couldn't be said in front of me? When Arabella and Raven looked at me, I began to walk out of the garden. When they began to talk to each other, I quickly turned around and hid behind the nearest rose bush. I heard Arabella asked Raven,"Are you The Hybrid?" 'What's The Hybrid??' I wondered curiously. "Are you trying to convince me to choose the angel side?!" Raven sounded really angry. Now I was confused. I thought Raven was human... Arabella the said something about it being Raven's choice. I peeked over the bush. Arabella was trying to help Raven show her angel side. "Just think of your best and happiest memories. That might work." Arabella said. There was a bright flash. Raven looked so....angelic... 'If she's part angel,' I thought,'then what else is she...' I saw her grin and she said,"So this is what I look like as an angel..."

Forgetting the fact that I was supposed to not be in the garden, I got up and went toward Arabella and Raven. They both looked startled. Arabella said angrily,"Annabel, you're not...." I ignored her and glared at Raven. "So...you're part angel, huh?!" She looked upset. "I wanted to tell you, but I was afraid..." I was shocked. "Afraid? Afraid of what?" Raven looked down. "That.....you would kill me." I began to laugh. "Annabel!!" Arabella snapped at me. "What's so funny?! This is serious!!!" Raven growled.

Raven's POV
I just told Annabel one of my biggest fears and she laughs?! What is wrong with her?! "What's so funny?! This is serious!!!" I growled at Annabel. Annabel, still laughing, said,"What's funny is, that you think I would kill you just because you're part angel!!! You have been a great friend to me and showed me where I could get weapons for angel hunting!!" I was stunned. "You....think I'm actually a great friend?" She nodded, then slowly stopped laughing. "I would never kill you, Raven," Annabel said in a serious tone,"or Arabella." I temporarily forgot that Arabella was there. "Since you're part angel," she continued,"what else are you?" I took a deep breath, then said quietly,"Demon."
