Raven's POV
I wondered why James asked me that question. Did he like me more than a friend? No, I don't think so. He could get any girl he wanted. James was handsome and kind to others, except Sebastian. "What's on your mind, milady?" James questioned me. I got out of my daze and said,"Oh, huh, nothing! Absolutely nothing at all!!" He grinned and put his arms around my waist. "What are you doing?!" I blushed. Carrying me bridal style, he ran around the garden. "Put me down!!" I shrieked, while laughing. He then put me down gently and said,"Wait here and close your eyes." A little nervous, I closed my eyes.

James' POV
I quickly looked around for some roses and found a few on the ground. I removed the thorns quickly, poking myself a few times. I then twisted some of the rose stems together, forming a crown of roses. I ran back to where Raven was and said,"Open your eyes." She opened them and gasped. I set it on the top of her head and smiled. "It's beautiful James!!" I held out my hand and helped her up. "You've become quite the lady's man." She teased. I laughed and tapped her nose lightly. "Have I really?" She rolled her eyes and nodded.

Arabella's POV
Earlier today, I was waiting for Annabel in the garden. 'She's become quite the beautiful woman.' I thought to myself happily. I sometimes wished that she was my actual daughter. A few moments later, I heard laughter. 'Is that Annabel?' I wondered. Two people then came into view. I hid quickly and watched them. 'Did Annabel know them? Who are they?' I curiously wondered. The boy was carrying the girl bridal style and soon set her down on the grass. He said,"Wait here and close your eyes." The girl closed her eyes and the boy picked up some roses from the ground from a distance. The boy poked himself a few times while making a rose crown for her. He ran back to where she was and told her to open her eyes. She gasped when she saw the crown and he set it on her head. The girl exclaimed,"It's beautiful James!!" So the boy was called James? What a handsome name. 'Those two are perfect for each other' I smiled.

*Time Skip to Nighttime*

Annabel's POV
After Raven went to sleep, I snuck out of the room and went into the garden. There I saw Arabella weaving a chain of roses. She looked up at me and smiled. "Hello, my dear Annabel." I sat down next to her. "So, who were the couple that was in the garden earlier?" I was confused. "What couple?" Arabella laughed and said,"The girl with long blonde hair and boy with dark brown hair." "Oh, that's Raven and James; they're not a couple." She looked disappointed. "They're so cute together!" I nodded. Arabella finished her chain of roses and gave it to me. "Thank you, Arabella." We talked for a while and then I stood up. "Well, I guess I have to go for now." Arabella nodded, saying,"You do need your sleep. I'll see you tomorrow." I turned around to go back to the manor, but I saw someone coming toward us. "Annabel? What are you doing out here in the middle of the night?" Raven said, yawning. She froze, staring at Arabella. "And who the hell is that?!"
