The bar is filling up like nothing happened last night. The alpha man was doing really well as a bouncer. Carding people and not letting his pride sweep over him and take control. As long as it continued like this it would not be too bad.

 Lucy was dancing with an elf man. If she was not my sister, I would be pissed. Darla is helping me behind the bar when I hear Layla yell "Order Up!" Darla has her flow going so I grab the tray of food to take to table six. As I grew closer, I realized it was a bunch of young teenage punks and they were tipsy. Being a supernatural you are able to drink at sixteen. I do not see why but I do not make the rules.

I groaned in the displeasure of adolescents like this, but a job is a job. "Here you go, Deep fried pizza burger with mozz sticks," the furthest from me with black hair and brown eyes raised his hand. "Thank you miss." Manners, that's new. "Cowboy burger, fries, and coleslaw?" The second boy with black hair and blue eyes raised his hand. They look related. "Thank you, ma'am." I ignored the ma'am which made me feel twenty years older than I was. "Rodeo with everything, onion rings, and fried pickles." 

The gentleman who grabbed it never said a word. I grabbed the empty glasses, as I went to walk away the silent young one with blonde hair, and brown eyes, grabbed my ass, "How about a dance later baby?" he laughed but his friends were whispering scolding him for doing that to me.

"Oh shit." I heard Calvin as he has seen what happened. I was taking deep breaths to calm my wolf as we saw our Alpha mate approaching. I looked at Darla and shook my head and I knew she would get him to back off. He stopped approaching but was eyeing us intensely. I turned and smiled at the boy who was still laughing. I quickly grabbed him by the throat and body-slammed him on the floor.

A crowd had formed with gasps. "I am not your baby." My wolf's fangs were making their way out. "If you ever touch me or another woman like that again who is not your mate or girlfriend? I will cut your balls off and feed them to you. Are we clear?" He quickly shook his head that he was in understanding.

My wolf was on edge and needed out but not here. I linked Lucy who was talking to Darla, 'I need to go for a run, I need to be alone, my wolf is getting angry. Tell her to keep her brother here to keep an eye out on the bar for me. I just need him to not follow me.'

 'Are you sure you do not need us to be there with you?' She held concern. 'No Lucy, I just need a release of this built-up anger.' I saw her nod in my direction and I took off to the woods.

When I was deep enough in the woods I figured it was clear to shift. I let Ember come forth. My bones began breaking and cracking to realign themselves. It was still painful but tolerable through the years. When the pain subsided, I felt the breeze blowing through our fur. It was so relaxing to be in wolf form. The world was so much clearer through her eyes.

'Ember how are you?' she was silent at first enjoying her body being free, stretching her limbs. 'Honestly, I do not know. I want mate, I want happiness for both of us. What if he does not like who I am?' 

I held sympathy for her having to have a human like me. 'I am sorry Ember; he will love you; I just do not want to jump in it because of a bond. We do not deserve control, we deserve love.' 

I mentally hugged her. 'I know, I will never roll over for anyone. If he wants us, he can roll over and prove it.' Goddess, I love my wolf.

We usually hunt for the food we prepare at the bar so why not go for some more tonight? I let my wolf take over, to be free. She needs this. She needs to run. She needs to hunt. She needs to kill.

Her fur was a liquid silver, her eyes as red as a flame. Her size alone would intimidate even most Alphas. As a she-wolf, she stands as tall as an Alpha, taller than some of the Alphas. She was beautiful, I cannot believe I finally found her. Without being noticed I slipped far enough away to run back home. I needed to let them know.

I quickly let my wolf come forward, using my vamp speed, it was like we were back home in a flash. "Guardian, you are back so soon." "Let the King and Queen know they have been found." The maid looked at me in shock with a smile plastering her face. "Of Course." She exclaimed and ran off towards the King and Queen's chambers. Finally, I found them, and being Guardian will help me keep busy and not focus on my fallen mate.

"Chandler." I heard the King's voice boom through the castle. I turned my heel quickly to face him. "Yes, your majesty." I bowed before him. "Is it true?" he asked and then the Queen made her presence known. "Did you find my daughters?" I saw the hope in her eyes. "Yes, your highness. I found them. They are about thirty miles east of the kingdom."

I saw the excitement and relief in their eyes. "You have to take it easy your majesty. They have no clue who they are or what they are for that matter." The King looked angry, but the Queen looked like she understood. "What do you suggest." I thought about it long and hard. "A few things. First, hold a ball in two months' time. All to attend. Giving them some time and adjustment. In the meantime, not as King or Queen but as mates, go to the bar they own. Get to know them." They both lit up at the idea of finally seeing their children again. "Then let us begin with the plans."
