"So where are we going ?" I ask him .

"Relax Gem . I'm not going to kidnap you , I'm just taking you out . You know you need the break ." He says smiling .

Soon , I realise where he's taking me . Marilyn's of Morgantown.  Literally my favourite grub place .

He parks his Benz - which I might want to comment runs smoothly - on the lot and we walk in .

Now I understand why he said no formal wear . I was about to bust out my prom dress .

My mind constantly drifts to Allison and how disappointed she looked when I broke the news to her .

"Sorry Ally,  I cant go with you to your parent's.  I'm just really exhausted , school has just drained me . My mom said I should get some rest . I'm sorry Ally." I said to her . Her face fell.

"My best friend wont be there , my brother wont be there . We might as well cancel. " she said , I could hear her holding back her tears .

"I'm sorry Ally , but you dont have to cancel because of me." I said trying to calm her down.

"Just go and enjoy yourself with your family ." I said to her .

"But I will be sleeping over. Is that okay with you?" She asked , smiling again .

"Yes , I'll get more rest even. " I said hugging her for comfort.

She smiled . I waited till she left till I can get ready and leave .

I feel bad , am I a bad friend?

"Are you okay?" He asks . Nibbling on the fries he ordered.

I didnt know what to get , so I just asked for what he has.

"Yes . Just trapped in the mind again." I say to him . He smiles , although it looks disapproving .

"You need to relax Gem . How was school today?" He asks .

"School was exhausting . How was work?" I ask him.

"Work was work , but let's leave that. I want to hear about you. Look Gem , I know something is disturbing you , you know you can talk to me right?" He says placing his hand ontop of mine .

My heart stops , then when it beats again it fastens .

He knows me , he can tell even when my thoughts are just racing on their own . With just one look , he can tell.

He stares directly at me , waiting for me to tell him what I have to say .

"Look Al , I like what we have going , truly . But I think we're betraying Ally . " I say , he looks at me and his comforting smile falters .

"So you want to end things?" He asks . The way he said it , it's as if we're dating.

"Well no , I just think we should come clean about what's happening ." I say to him . He nods but you can tell that he doesnt want to.

"Okay , tell you what. Let's wait to see where exactly this is going , and when we're sure , then we can talk to Allyson about it , is that fine with you?" He asks , I nod my head . It sounds fair really .

"So what are your plans for tomorrow ?" He asks .

"What's happening tomorrow?" I ask him , it's really confusing these days .

"Halloween , what are you doing for Halloween?" He asks , taking a sip from his drink .

"Ally and I are head to that abundant amusement park for the party. What are your plans ?" He smiles at my question but you can tell that the smile is not of amusement.

"I have a project I'm starting with . In Colorado. " he says .

Colorado?

"Is that so." Is all I can muster .

"Yes , I'll be staying there for a month or so." He says . "I wanted to see you privately before I leave. " he continues .

"Why didnt you tell me all along?" I ask him . He just shakes his head.

"You know , I dont have an excuse . But if I had to explain my self , its mainly because I didnt know how to tell you.

We might have an opportunity to expand there , so I'm just overseeing everything that side 'cause mom wont let dad go." He says .

"Oh , good luck then . " I say then I go back to eating .

The rest of the date flies by like a blur , I barely remember much from then on . But I went back to the dorm and I just fell asleep .

Now I'm in my design class . Ms Dulće Pierre , our lecturer is from France,  she was an interior designer before she came here to teach .

She says she enjoys sharing her knowledge more than she does designing . And frankly I believe that , her smile never falters as she teaches .

"Okay class , you have to understand your own style before you want to go with the buyer's style.

As you know , your final year project , two years from now , will be  designing a room for a provided buyer , I hope that what I'm teaching you today will assist with that project . " she says .

After that she dismisses us . Miss D never dismisses us at the end of the lecture , if she's done with her plan for the day , then she let's you go.

To my dorm I head , we have a party to prepare for and I'm more than excited about that .

After showering and doing my hair , Ally comes in from her creative arts class .

"What costume are you wearing?" She asks , taking a shower .

"Did you forget that I bought us those really cute matching cat suits . We're both cat woman." I say and she squeals .

Yet again,  Tyler comes right on time and is knocking on the door .

"Hello Tyler." I say hugging him with one arm .

"Gemma , you look hot ." He says , taking me in one more time .

The tight leather pants show off my curves and butt and legs . The black matching leather bra holds my boobs in place.

I don't have a big bust , I barely have a bust but it still looks really good .

I have a whip in hand and six inch black leather heels .

And for the first time in my entire life , I'm wearing red lipstick.

Ally is in a similar out fit , instead hers is a one piece but revealing an extreme amount of bust .

And she has big breast. Her breast are literally pooling out of the skin tight leather suit .

"Wow." Tyler keeps on saying the entire way there .

The moment Tyler parks his car near a dead tree,  I hear music booming from the rusted rides .

"Woo , this looks fun." Ally yells over the music .

"Yea it does ." I reply,  yelling over the music too .

"Let me  get you ladies a drink ." Ty says .

Colt walks over and whispers something in Ally's ear . She giggles and they both walk away from the lit area and into the darker parts of the woods .

No question what they're doing. 

Someone throws a wolf whistle at me and it causes my head to whip up and stare at them .

Its Eliot from the football team .

I look at him and shake my head . What the hell is wrong with guys from this school.

I cant help but grunt and seat on one of the old swing sets .

Al is really leaving for a month? To Colorado.  How am I even going to get there? I dont even own a car.

"Is this seat taken?" A voice says from behind me .

I jump in fright and turn to see the owner of the voice .

Jeremy .

"Hi . Not by anyone I know of." I say patting the seat next to me on the swing.

"What's wrong, are you okay?" He asks . He limps over to the swing and sits .

He limps over . Limps .

It might be true, what Allyson told me might actually be true .

"Yes, I just have a lot to think about.  You know how it is ." I say to him . He nods and stares at his leg.

"I'm sorry about kissing you the other day. I just ... I dont know what got into me." He says , roughly scrubbing his scalp .

"I understand.  It was just an act of being in the moment right." I say to him and he nods .

"And who are you supposed to be?" I ask him , analyzing his costume.

"Peter pan." He says and we both chuckle .

"Let's go get some drinks ." He says holding the small of my back .

The rest of the night is fun filled.  We chase each other around , and tickle one another.

We have more alcohol than necessary and when the liquor we both had kicks in we fall onto the grass and stare up at the sky. And suddenly we're making shitty shapes from the stars and shitty jokes too ,mostly from me.

He drives me home when Allyson says he's sleeping at the frat. And gives me a warm smile .

My immediate thought tells me that he's still pretty drunk and cant drive .

"Hey , you cant drive while you're drunk." I say to him . He looks at me and smiles .

"Yea , I'll just walk . Or call an uber ." He says .

He pats his pockets then fishes for his phone from his back pocket .

"Ugh, its flat ." He says .

"That's okay,  you can sleep on my couch or Allyson's bed , she's not coming home tonight ." I say to him .

He smiles and heads up with me .
