I woke up to find myself cuddling with Haru. WAIT WHAT?!? Then the events of yesterday come crashing into my mind. Oh ya. I guesse I fell asleep. Well I should probably get into my room before Haru wakes up or-
"Mmmm" shit. I think he's waking up. Alright out the balcony it is!

I wake up to see something quickly swimming up from my balcony. What time is it? Wait... How did I get in my room? Last I remember was falling asleep on... Crap. I fell asleep with Rin hugging me cause I was crying. Why was I- Oh right Alyssa. I get a feeling that she told every one. I mean who would actually pay that much attention to me to see through my disguise of indifference? Certainly not the prince and soon to be King of the Shark people.

I need to talk to some one. Can't talk to Rin about this cause it's partially about him, the others might not know, I have no clue where Alyssa actually lives or even if she'd want to talk. That leaves me with three options. Maybe I should go with all three...

"HARU-CHAN" Im suddenly tackled by a Pengunian Prince.
"Hi Nagisa" I reply.
"Nagisa! Haruka-Senpai!" A smiling Sealik Prince yells swimming up to us smiling. (Yes I know Rei is a butterfly but butterflies don't live underwater.)

"Hey Rei" I say prying Nagisa off me.

Nagisa has a sort of flipper thing on top of his arms which are webbed. Half his arm has black feathers with white on the bottom. He also has orange webbed feet. Well not exactly orange but tinted orange. He also has black and white feathers all throughout the lower half of his body. However he also has those orange and yellow feathers on his neck like an emperor penguin. He's got orangish blond hair and pink eyes.

Rei has the same built as Half tails except his tail just comes out his lower back and he's got legs and the flipper hand things like Nagisa. His feet are webbed too. He also has blue hair and violet eyes.

"Where's Makoto?" Rei asks looking for the Orcanian Prince. Makoto has green eyes and dirty blond hair. He's a half tail Like Gou, Rin, and I.

"He's probably off with his Human boyfriend." Nagisa says.

"WHAT?!?" Me and Rei scream

"He's not my boyfriend! And for your information I was dealing with my siblings!" Said Oracanian Prince interjects while swimming up to us.

"So what's the problem Haru?" Makoto says turning his head towards me.

"Well wait just a second here! What's this about a human?" Rei questions.

"Can we talk about this later? Didn't we come here cause Haru wanted to talk to us?" Makoto counters.

"Yeah bu- huh fine. Go ahead Haru." Rei says after being nudged by Nagisa. I swear those to have something going on.

"Well, You guys know how the Dolphineans have allied with the Merpeople and some of each species have gone to the others kingdom?" I asked just to clarify that they do.

"Ya but-Wait. Did you fall in love with the Princess? Oh Haru-Chan!" Nagisa begins to squeal.

"No that's not it at all. Avery is just an acquaintance. Maybe friend." I interject. "But I think I did fall in love." I mumble just loud enough for them to hear even if I'm looking away.

"Really? With who?" Makoto asks excited.

"Well first off the Dolphineans, Merpeople, and Shark people are-"

"-In a war? Oh Haruka-senpai don't tell me you fell in love with the enemy!" Rei says cutting me off.

"No, no! We aren't at war! We actually formed an alliance! Apparently the Shark King was killed and now his son Prince Rin is in charge. Though he isn't king yet because he needs a bride, he still is the highest class right now." I explain.

"Really? That's so great!" Nagisa cheers. "But wait so who did you fall in love with? Is it one of the shark people? *gasp* Is it the Princess?" Nagisa questions rapidly while swimming around me with excitement.

"No. Not Princess Gou. I say blushing and looking away."

"Then who could you have- Wait Haru, Is it the Prince? Are you gay?" Rei guesses widening his eyes.

I look down with a blush as red as Rin's eyes on my face and nod sheepishly.

"Oh Haru. Does he like you back or?" Makoto asks.

I shake my head no while still looking down. "I don't think so. I think as a friend but I'm pretty sure he's straight. I mean he did say he was looking for a Bride." I say.

"Haruka-Senpai, I'm so sorry" Rei says.

"It's fine. I'm fine. I'll live, I've lived through worst." I say as I try to hold back the tears that are threatening to fall.
"Any ways that's not all I wanted to talk about." I say sighing heavily.

"What is it?" Makoto questions softly while placing his hand on my shoulder.

"I ran into Alyssa."

Earlier Before breakfast

My brother and Haru never came back to the group last night. They didn't come for dinner either so I'm kinda worried. As I swim down to the Dinning hall I see Haru swimming towards the castle door with nothing but a stick of grilled mackerel. Now that I think about it all he really eats is mackerel and stuff with mackerel.

Maybe it has something to do with being imprisoned and tortured by his father... Huh.

"Hey Haru where you going?" I call out, swimming over to him.

"Oh, hey Gou. I'm just going for a Swim outside the city." he responds.

"Oh okay. Hey,what happened yesterday?" I ask even though I know the answer. I notice him flinch and decide not to push him. "Never mind you don't have to tell me! But hey do you know where my brother is? He went off looking for you yesterday and well neither of you came to dinner so I thought you might know."

"I'm right here." I hear the familiar voice of my older brother from behind me.

"I'm gonna go now see ya!" Haru says swimming out the door with his Mackerel.

"Wait Haru! Where's he going?" Rin asks turning towards me with furrows eyebrows.

"He said he was going for a swim outside the city." I answer. "Why? What happened with you two last night?" I ask.

"Nothing happened."

"Uh huh suuurrreee. Whatever you say big brother." I say rolling my eyes.

Time skip back to where we left off at Haru's POV

I decided to go exploring outside the city and maybe do a bit of singing in a cave that has water in it but some land too. Its hard for Humans to get to cause they would either need to swim, or climb over rocks and hop down one of the holes in the rocky wall.

As I'm swimming I hear voices coming from a bunch of rocks in a sort of circle. I don't recognize any of them. Hmmm. Maybe I should spy. Yep agent Avery on the case of the mysterious rock noises!

I swim up to it and peak through one of the holes in the rocks. I'm laying on my stomach and what's the first thing I see? Pengunian butt. What's a Pengunian doing here? I mean we are pretty close to Merpeople Territory. We don't have an alliance with them but we aren't at war or anything either.
"You just swam off?" Voice 1 says.
"Well ya I mean I just couldn't face her!" Voice- wait a minute. Why does voice 2 sound like Haru?
"You can't just run away from your problems Haruka-Senpai!" Says voice 3/2 since apparently voice 2 is Haru.

"Says one of the guys who helped me escape my father's secret torture dungeon. Don't get me wrong I'm glad you did but still. That was a problem and we ran from it." Haru snaps. Ooo sassy Haru. Avery like.

"Haru-chan that was completely different! You were being bloody tortured!" Voice 3 says. Previous voice 3 is now voice 2.

"Nagisa that was a horrible choice of words." voice 1 says.

"What do you- oh. Oh. Wow I did not mean to do that. That came out really badly" Voice 3/Nagisa says voice becoming muffled after the second 'oh.'

"Does anyone else smell something a bit fishy?" Voice 1 asks.
Fishy? What's fishy? I don't smell any- oooohhh. Crap. "EVASIVE MANEUVERS! RETREAT RETREAT!"

"Oh no" I hear Haru say. "Don't tell me- AVERY!" He yells at me coming up from behind the rocks. How did they know I was there?
"How did you know I was here?" I question swimming back towards the face palming Haru. I just realized that I know why he has those scars now.

"Well you screamed 'EVASIVE MANEUVERS! RETREAT RETREAT!'" Voice 1 points out swimming up next to the still face palming Haru. Ok so voice 1 is an Orcanian.

"Wait I screamed that? Dang it I thought that was just in my head!" I curse my self.

"Ugh how much did you hear?" Haru asks.

"Nothing I didn't alre- I mean that umm. Ok I heard from 'You just swam off?' And on ward." I reply struggling for words.

"Alyssa told all you guys didn't she." Haru asks looking right at me.

"... Ummmm 🎶F is for friends that do stuff together-🎶" I begin singing randomly before being cut off by Haru.

"I knew it! That's how Rin knew I was abused!"

"Wait what? You and Rin had a special moment?!? I thought he never found you cause you went to your apartment house thing!" I yell.

"We didn't 'Have a moment' we just- well mostly I cried and he talked a little and that's it." Haru counters blushing and looking away.

"Your lying." both me and the Pengunian say at the same time. Ok so that's Nagisa judging by the voice. Voice 2 is apparently a Sealik.

"I am not!" Haru yells.

"I think your leaving out details and therefore you are sort of lying. Lying isn't beautiful Haruka-Senpai, it doesn't suit you." The Sealik says.

"Wut" I say all weird like causing the others to look at me weird. I respond by crossing my eyes and sticking out my tongue.

"Ok Haru, who is this anyways?" The Orcanian questions.

"This is Princess Avery of the Merpeople. Avery, this is Prince Rei, Prince Nagisa, and Prince Makoto. I think you can figure out what kingdoms they are Princes of right?" Haru introduces all of us.

"Yeep" I respond to he's question.

"Yeep?" Prince Rei repeats in a
questioning tone while tilting his head.

"Yeep." Nagisa reapeats aswell with out a questioning tone.

"Yeep yeep." Haru repeats adding an extra Yeep.

We all then start just going "Yeep" like crazy.

"Oh dear god what have I walked in on?" The voice of Quentin asks.

"Yeep" Haru responds turning towards Q whose walking over to us. Pff loser.

"Wow look at this loser walking over here. Who the hell walks?" I tease.

However my tease kinda backfires because Rei and Nagisa then start walking. Reigisa. Yes perfect.
"QUENTIN SHARKFUCK!" I scream at him.

"CELESTIAL GODESS MERMAID AVERY!" He yells back.

"Wait what?" Haru questions Q's words.

"REIGISA!" I yell pointing at the two.

"What" Nagisa questions looking towards me with a frown.

"BLESS YOU!" Is Quentin's Reply. "Wait what are your guys' names?" He asks Rei and Nagisa to which both reply.

"Ooooohhh Reigisa." Q repeats now understanding and looking at them. "REIGISA!" He yells.

"RINHARU!" I scream.

"Good lord. I'm going back to the Kingdom!" Haru says swimming off while rubbing his temple.

"I'm gonna continue to try and convince my parents to ally with all your guys kingdoms! I'll try for the Shark people too!" Makoto says swimming away.

"We should do the same." Rei says looking at Nagisa, to which he responds with a nod and they head off.

"And then there were us" Quentin says. As he watches the dots of Rei and Nagisa get farther and farther away.

"Nope then there was you. See ya!" I say as I swim after Haru knowing that I'm a faster swimmer than him. I'm sure Quentin will be able to catch up pretty easily.

"Hey! Avery!"

"CATCH ME IF YOU CAN FISH!"

"IM NOT A FISH! IM A SHARK!" He yells while swimming after me. Let the games begin.
