~|~Haru's POV~|~
Ahh I finally get to rest! Never mind there's another fucking drill!Gosh darn it. This is the third one this week! Usually we only get two. Huh weird.

"THIS IS NOT A DRILL EVERY ONE TO THE CASTLE! PLEASE REMAIN CALM! THIS IS NOT A DRILL!" Soldiers and guards are yelling every where while every one is screaming.

Pfft, they say it's not a drill every time! Why is every one freaking out? I look behind me and see a load of figures moving quickly to the kingdom. OK NOT A DRILL! IM GETTING MY DOLPHIN A$$ TO THE CASTLE!

As I enter the castle panicking on the inside but showing absolutely no emotion on the outside as usual, I quickly realize that it's full of panic. I also notice King Connor trying to quiet every one down. "Quiet! Quiet down!" He yells but no where near as loud enough for any one to hear. Well at least the Merpeople, but I'm sure some Dolphineans heard it.

"SHUT IT!!!!" Woah. Princess Avery got a set of lungs. Or wait, Does she? I don't know whatever!

Avery is pretty cool I guess. Very bitchy, but I guess you could say that she's pretty. I don't know.

Here hair is cool. It's a mixture of purples and magenta's and literally sparkles. Her tail starts off as an almost indigo color and slowly fades into an electric blue color.

"Thank you Avery" King Connor says to his daughter and then clears his throat. "Shark people have been spotted coming towards the kingdom. It appears to be a small army. However like I said before, these are shark people. Now-"

"If the shark people are invading then why the hell are all the guards and soldiers in here and not protecting the kingdom?" I question. I'm responded with loads of murmurs.

"He has a point"

"Why are all the guards and soldiers here?"

"They should be protecting us!"

"SIIIIIILEEEEENNNNNCCCCEEEEE!" I say this once again, Avery has some set of lungs. I think.

"Prince Haruka of the Dolphinean"

"Yes King Connor of the Merpeople?" I respond still showing no emotion.

"I'm quite sure your father sent you here to help have both our people become more accustom to eachother, correct?"

"More like he just wanted to get ride of me." I mumble under my breath.

"Hmm. Well my point is he did not send you to rule my kingdom, now did he?" The Merking interrogates.

"No but-" I was cut off by the someone or thing banging on the door.

"MERPEOPLE AND DOLPHINEANS! OPEN THE CASTEL DOORS!" A voice from outside yells.

"Open it." Princess Avery commands without hesitation.

"What?!?! No! Keep it closed! That's an order!" The Merking yells. Geeze and I thought Princess Avery actually had some common sense and Intelligence.

"OPEN THE DAMN DOORS BEFORE I HANG YOU ALL!" Avery commanded swiftly swimming over to the group of guards trying to figure out wether or not to open the doors. Well that got them to listen.

As the doors opens there floats about 100 shark people. A mixture of both Half tails and Full bodies.
(Half tails are like your stereotypical but different tails[Most Dolphineans are like this including Haru]Full bodies are like humanoid things with webbed fingers and feet gills, scales, dorsal fins, and sharp teeth and claws.)

There was a Full body and two Half tails in the front. The full body had a mixture of ocean and electrike blue sort of spiky hair and aqua eyes. Both the Half tails had long Maroon colored hair. The boy seemed to have red eyes while the girl's seemed to be a more reddish brown.

"I wish to speak to the Royal families of both the Merpeople and the Dolphineans." The Male half tail announces.

"Why" King Connor replies.

"Negotiation and news."
Negotiation and news? Wait, Negotiation, with the shark people? Did their ruler die and economy drop?Wait no this is obviously a trap.

"Fine. Every one who is not royalty leave, minus the guards and soldiers."

I attempt to get out with the crowd. Key word, 'Attempt'

"Prince Haruka!"

Damn it. Oh well, worth a try. I make my way to the front of the thrones and turn to face the Shark people.

"I'm afraid only one member of the Dolphinean Royal family is here, but the full royal family for the Merpeople are here." Queen Julia says swimming down from her throne where she has sat saying nothing this whole time.

The Half tail looks at me and our eyes lock for about 5 seconds before he looks back towards The Mers and nods. "I am Prince Rin of the shark people and this is my Sister Gou." The half tail says.

"Hi!" 'Gou' says with a smile.

"I'm Quentin, but you may call me Q. I'm the head of the Royal guard and their cousin."((He's just Quentin now to help lessen cringe)) 'Quentin' said gesturing to 'Rin' and 'Gou'.

"So what exactly do you want?" I question keeping my emotionless face and sounding as indifferent as usual.

"Well first off , our father, the King, has been murder, meaning that I am soon to be king. If I can find a bride that is-"

"No." Avery says cutting him off.

"Chill Avery he's not asking for that!" Quentin counters. Wait, how does he know her name? Come to think of it I think he was the one to say 'Open the door' earlier too. What's going on here?

"Ya no, I wouldn't want you as my bride anyways. Gross. Anyways-"

"I'm sorry what!?"
Oh boy.

"Oh no." I swear Quentin and Avery know each other.

"Nothing! Nevermind! Anyways I came here to ask for peace between the Shark people, Merpeople, and Dolphineans. I would like to request a truce as my first act as king, Despite not actually being King yet..." Rin replies scratching the back of his neck at the end.

"Hmmm" Mr. Merking hums as he thinks.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I think I can actually trust this guy. I just got that feeling. Though there's no way in hell I'm gonna show it.

"Well I don't actually have the authority to officially agree for my kingdom but I suppose I could accept. But like I said it's not up to me. You're gonna have to go through my father." I respond while crossing my arms.

The Shark prince gives a slight smile and nods before looking back toward King Connor. "Well? What do you say?" He pushes reaching his hand out to the Merking.

"Oh for fuck sake! Why the hell not!" Princess Avery says sounding a bit frustrated and shaking Rins hand.

"Wha-? Avery! You can't just- Nevermind it's a deal!" The Merking says panicking a bit when Avery gave him a death stare.

If looks could kill this whole kingdom would be a crater in the sea floor by now.

"Ok so, we now all have an alliance correct?" Rin questions to confirm.

"ABSOLUTLY NOT!"

Oh boy, this isn't gonna end well. Just hearing his voice again and so loud and angry makes me flinch.

An: Okay I'm gonna edit the hell out of this because for some reason people really like this. So imma try to edit it to make it better so that I like it as well.

This of course means changing up a few characters so that they aren't from fandoms that aren't related to Free! What so ever. They'll still be there, they'll just change.

Don't expect me to be consistent with the edits because I'm anything but. If the chapter has been updated there will be a some sort of emoji in the title & in my Author's Note.
