God is love.
God is good.
God is kind.
God is faithful.
He keeps His promises.
He loves you regardless of your past, present or future actions.
He sent us Jesus Christ to die for you and me.
Jesus Christ took up our sins so we never have to suffer the wrath of our sin.
Jesus promised us the Holy Spirit.
He now sits on God's right hand...
The Holy spirit is here with us, just as promised. (John 14:17-18)
The Holy spirit is a constant guide, comforter, teacher...
He is in you and I as long as you've accepted Christ as your personal savior.
He tells/warns us of things to come before they happen.
He expounds the word for us.
He speaks for us when we don't know what to pray for. (Tongues- Romans 8:26-27)

This is true in every practicing Christian's life.

How wasteful, how exhausting it must be to practice false religious beliefs.

I am curious, what do people who practice other kinds of faith hear? I mean, do their gods speak to them? Do they feel them? I am really curious, because what is the point of practicing a religion that is one sided?

Don't you have a craving to feel your god? Don't you want comfort? A friend? Someone reliable when everything else isn't?

This article is to speak even to you dormant Christian. You know yourself, you are a Christian by name. You don't understand what people are talking about when they say having a relationship with God.

God speaks to us using various means.
1) Mainly by his word. (2 Timothy 3:16) Look for God in his word, you will always find Him.
2)He speaks to us through his son Jesus Christ. (Hebrews 1:1-2)
3)He also uses people, preachers, parents, friends, teachers....
4)I believe He also uses dreams.
5) He also downright comes and speaks to your heart.
The thing with all the above methods and maybe many more is you will always recognise GOD'S VOICE.

It is comforting to hear from God. I used to have a problem with people who say God spoke to them... Ignorance in this case wasn't bliss. It was the devil's weapon! God does speak, seek Him genuinely and keep still and He shall reveal Himself.

Again I ask wouldn't you rather have a closer relationship with God? Wouldn't you rather your God spoke to you, guided you, comforted you? Wouldn't you rather a God who is involved in every aspect of your life?

I don't have much more to say today.

I post these to tell people about my God, a Father who loved me even in my worst. Even when I rejected Him and went in the way of the world, He still loved me. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for Him. This is not even an exaggeration, I'd be dead, or sick with a horrible disease that I brought entirely on my self. There is a reason I say that. I have been to some horrible pits!

But God reached out and pulled me out! So here I am proclaiming his name because He lives! He loves and He is the way, the truth and the life.
