My theory is that we small authors do have audiences, even if our reach is limited. My idea is that if we work together, cross promoting each other's works in a targeted way, we would be more likely to hit new audiences who would be inclined to also read our work.

This book will hopefully become a place where authors can find other willing authors with similar work and connect. Maybe I'm delusional, but it could be worth a try. (I'm going to throw caution to the wind and publish this before I talk myself out of it.)

For example, I'm currently working on a dystopian vampire novel with a shameless(ly hilarious?) antihero and the rebellious human who loaths her. If you're writing a sweet young adult romance, there's probably not a lot of crossover amongst our readers.

But if you're writing something darker and more in the paranormal bent, it's quite possible that my readers might like your book and your readers might like mine in turn. In aggregate, over time, this will hopefully increase the chances of participants getting that sweet lucky updraft.

What I hope to do with this book is give writers a way to connect with other similar writers who could form partnerships to help each other to connect with like-minded readers, both on Wattpad and potentially on other connected social media accounts. If you think that this might have a chance of working, fill out the form in correct chapter after you read about the process and the rules to connect with other writers with similar works.

Disclaimer: I don't know if this will actually be effective and it will certainly take time and persistence, but we won't find out without trying, now will we?
