Warning, warning:  this will have a trigger warning!  And it is also for mature audiences only.  There will be sex, there will be betrayal, and there will be heartbreak.  And like the title says, suicide.....or is it?

Meet Alanna, the girl that went away.  You see her in this book plenty of times in the eyes of everyone she left behind. 

Pardon me while I go on left field here for a minute, folks....  Do you know what a semicolon tattoo stands for?  I have one myself on the back of my neck.  It's a tattoo for suicide awareness.  The semicolon is put where the writer could have chosen to end the sentence, but instead they allow it to continue.  On my tattoo, my semicolon is inside a heart, and the heart in the center of heartbeats that you would see on a graph....Let the beat go on.  I have battled with thoughts of suicide, I have almost lost a loved one from attempted suicide, and I HAVE lost a loved one from suicide.  I have faced that pain, and I understand.  But the writer here, she does a superb job in allowing the reader to feel the pain of everyone when the deed is already done; so if there is anyone here that is struggling and wonders what the world would be like if you left everyone behind, I encourage them to read this story, as it makes you think twice of what you want to do.  Miss Cancer baby has also extended in her story "My PM is always open," so in honor of that kind gesture, I will extend mine as well.

Alanna was very much loved.  Everyone grieves for her in their own way.  Many of them, if not all, were very much taken by surprise.  There is a bit of a love triangle among friends, although unknown, as some of them are not out of the closet yet.  What gets to me though, is the main villain of the story, Clyde.  It is apparent that there is more to him that meets the eye.    Though the story is not very far yet, if it turns into a suicide to murder story, my money would bet on him.

Either way, for Alanna to have already been gone for three years, the friends and family in this story still have a lot of healing to do, no matter what the future unfolds.  I look forward to seeing everyone unite and give one another strength most of all as we wait for the next page.  And say a prayer for our lovely writer.  She's healing from a car accident.
