Meet Ada, an unpopular girl.  At least for now.  But why is she unpopular?  And why is she concerned about "the social ladder"?  Turns out she has a friend who became a part of the popular crowd, and she is hoping to win her back. 

Ada has herself some issues.  She's very introverted and shy for one thing.  She's also learning things about herself, such as avoiding people rather than facing her feelings.  More than anything, she's learning how to come out of her shell and be more open with people, and learning that a lot of people she closed herself off from were really not so bad.

Of course there are people that she thought she was really close to end up turning their back on her, and others reveal that they are not who they appeared to be.  The hardest part is dealing with the rumors that "popular" people have to deal with.  It's like, once you are there, you are a hot topic for people to talk about because they genuinely have nothing better to do with their lives.

Now, how did the "popular" people get popular in the first place.  It all started with the kids that were stuck in preschool together.  Friendships and cliques were born.  And then more people showed up wanting to be part of that circle, some for all the wrong reasons.  You know, the butt kissers and such.  The ones that do make it to their table are the ones that genuinely want to be friends.

Ada has a lot of drama to face, and even some boy things, some good, some bad.  You will be thankful to know that this story is not another "Bad Boy" trope.  She actually does get herself a good guy.  But does she get that number one spot?  Does she get her friend back?  Who shows their true colors for this social experiment?  Find out on "The Social Ladder."
