Well folks, I've read some "sweet romantic shorties," and I've read some sexy werewolf stories.  I never expected I would read two in one, but that's exactly what this is.  6 chapters, but it pretty much explains everything.

Meet Amy.  She lives in a world where the supernaturals lived there all along, but for the most part, unknown and peacefully.  (The ones that were never caught anyway.)  The werewolves and the vampires all pretty much blended in.  Then the Elves came.  And they all wanted to kidnap the women.  So the vampires and the werewolves began to work together to protect everyone.

Amy is also a widow.  Her husband was just a typical human.  He was a good man though, and treated her well.  So this lets you know that nobody took the place of the human men.  If anything, the fact that the vampires and werewolves started marrying the women made them step up their game and not taking the women for granted so much now.  Unfortunately, he was killed by some rouge elves that wanted to take Amy by force.  She was rescued by some vampires, and they took her to "the church" where the young women would possibly get chosen.

The whole story plot here, it's written with a wolf's point of view that mating for life is a good thing, and to be picked by somebody that would think you are the most precious thing in the whole wide world is not a bad thing at all.  I've been a married woman myself since 2005, so I can't really argue with that.  Has some intimate scenes in there, and it wasn't half bad.  Has some spunky moments where she had to stand up to some jealous she-wolf.  Also found she had some family ties to the vampire kingdom.  All and all, it was a pretty good tale.  I hope you give it a go.
