This was one of the best kid stories I have read in a very long time.  Meet Ferry.  Ferry is a beautiful child with some unique traits about him that makes him easy bait in a small time.  Point blankly, he's different.  But even he has no idea how much.

It's kind of hard for me to explain what this book is about without giving a lot of spoilers about it.  You will find many twists and turns and surprises, but not all of them will be pleasant.  There will be many friends and deep bonds of unconditional love.  Will be some violence in this story.  And quite a lot of magic.

Movies and stories that come to mind to compare this story to:  Terabithia, Epic, The Never Ending Story, The Labyrinth.  Pretty much anything that has a plot where nothing is as it seems.  I hope you read it.
