Meet Erika, a young woman battling cancer.  As if that's not bad enough, she has an alcoholic mother, she is taken away from her best friend, and she finds herself in a town ridden with vampires.  There may be some romance or young love developing, but this is not your typical teen vampire romance.  It's more like a mystery novel of Nancy Drew, Vampire style.  Or finding yourself lost in a game of Clue in Shadowbrook, where once a mystery is solved, another one is revealed.  It has some bloody themes, so don't be too surprised at the stabbings, feedings, and occasional pinky finger or big toe that are found, but all in all, it's a very entertaining story.  I'm looking forward to seeing the end.
