Alright folks, please forgive me for being so biased.  As a lot of these ladies are my friends, I absolutely adore this magazine.  We are all a group of women that met on Wattpad, and chic lit was something that we were all drawn to for various reasons.  Friendships were made, writing in this style was kindled, or rekindled, and we shared stories, both personal and written, and more or less just lifted one another up.

We got to where we enjoyed it so much, we decided to make a habit of it.  The Pink Dandelion comes in a quarterly wait, this first launch coming out in the fall.  It features several stories, (all of them chic lit) where the woman is the center of this story, her hopes her dreams and such, and we all pitched in with our own twist of short stories.

This being fall, the theme was pumpkin spice.  You will find it in several stories.  I will give two examples of it:  One was a bittersweet story of a woman who reminisced with the comforting drink, as she thought of her Mama.  She missed her so much.  The other was pumpkin spice flavored pancakes.  They created a sensation, but even more sensational than that was the woman who created them.  This was not your typical cooking diner tale.  It pretty much touched bases with all that women go through and the complexities of it.  Things like falling in love, and the boy changing his mind, while all the people that love you remind you how wonderful you really are.  That's why we love chic lit.  It gives you hope even when the romance has fizzled out, reminding us once again that romance is not the only part of us.  I hope you enjoy these short stories.
