Athena is sold into the black market by her parents.  Just when she had her life together, down to her pet cat.  But uh-oh, now she's at the mercy of some werewolves.  But unlike the wolves that mate for life, these are more like the human scum that want to take advantage of a woman without her permission.  Does she let them?  Hell no!  She manages to kill on a massive scale, only to be kidnapped again by the alpha wolf, who also just happens to be her lifemate, much to both of their dismay.  It's a lust/hate relationship, with the wolf bond fighting every last restraint for the both of them.  So far, it looks like they are beginning to allow friendship to bloom, and it appears that the alpha is not informed yet of why Athena had to go to such lengths to defend herself.  They are both on thin ice at the moment, but there is hope they can find happiness together.
