This is a short little tale that isn't getting hear enough attentions as it deserves.  It reminded me much of a Cajun neighbor I had.  He was a tough street wise fella, but when it came to ghosts, "Nope, nope, nope, nope!"  That is what came to mind with the writer's denial mentality.
