Deal with the Devil is kind of a guessing game on who the actual devil is.  At first, you think it might be Alex.  He did after all, tell a girl he just met, "I want you to live with me," under the guise of merging two companies and being a big billionaire, thought she would go along with it.  But, Anastasia's mother and her step father....You can't help but note that there is something not right with them.

Anastasia meanwhile is that classic angel type of playing the role of the sacrificial lamb.  Her birth father has cancer, and she has to cater to her rich sociopath mother to have the funds to afford her father's treatment. 

I suppose this is just another cliche romantic story of the sweet Cinderella type, but I always enjoyed Cinderella stories in whatever shape or form they took.  Get ready for another happy ending...Eventually.
