Meet Bae...otherwise known as Colten James.  This boy is.... Where do I even begin.  This boy is one of those angel stories, but not the typical one you will find in Watty World.  Don't get me wrong, I rather enjoy those angel stories full of feathery wings and things.  But Colt's story is more of the realistic angels that walk among us. 

You would never guess it from the book jacket, admitting that he was raised by three pole dancers.  People in general, we tend to think of angels as monks or something, (or a teenage girls dream, depending on what Wattpad story you are reading.)  We forget that the angels that walk among us are imperfect human beings just like the rest of us, but there are still things that set them apart from the rest of us.  So rare is that pure heart of gold, the softest metal of all.  It's also the metal that never tarnishes, no matter how long it has been neglected or forgotten.  It is the heart of gold that is the most forgiving of all.  Anyone who reads this will know that Colten James is one of those rare treasures.

What makes him different from everyone else, he has that Midas touch, but on a soul level, turning everyone else to gold that he touches.  He is that knight in shining armor, that warrior that walked through the fires of hell.  He's the best friend and young lover that gives his heart completely once he makes his mind up to stay, and even the ladies that weren't his Kendal, it was never asking anymore than they were willing to give.  And to be honest, he was pretty enough he never had to do any of the asking anyway.

Bae Boy is the story of Colten James, from boyhood to adulthood, and friendships and relationships with people that were forgotten as he once was.  The ones that he was capable of fixing, they all managed to cling to him, in this type of relationship or that.  But there are some people along the way he meets that he finds not even his heart of gold can save.

Pros:  Very compelling.  All too real situations that people don't always want to talk about. 

Cons:  Some folks might get a little creeped out about one of his teachers.  But spoiler alert:  a mutual attraction is one thing.  But two people that acknowledge it and still don't do anything about it....are still pretty good people.

Why you should read this story:  This is one of those stories where "God is everywhere" and can wear the face of any kind of person you meet, walking any kind of life you can imagine.  Colten has a way of inspiring good things with everyone he meets, and you just want to hop on that bus with him.
