Ice's hatching wasn't exactly the best, her mother almost pushed her off a cliff.

     Ice's father's tail was wrapped around her egg. "Remind me why is her egg out in the open!?" Harbor screeched. "Because it's a Nightwing tradition." MindProjector replied. Harbor let out a huff then went back to staring at the dark gray egg. "Well I don't see the point of it little Seal hatched just fine not under the stars." Harbor hissed. MindProjector rolled his eyes. 

     Little cracks started forming on the egg along with chirping. After an hour the dragonet had hatched. She had icy blue eyes with a white pattern of scales running down the middle of her face. The tips of her wings were white and they faded into a dull purple. She had the extra spines on the end of her tail and her talons were serrated. She had the normal Nightwing under wing pattern except it was inverted.

     Harbor looked disgusted by the dragonet. "How about Black Ice?" MindProjector suggested while looking over at Harbor. He frowned when he saw her expression. Then a little RainWing dragonet came wobbling out of the house. "Dada Mama!" The dragonet chirped. MindProjector wrapped his talons around the dragonet. "Joyful meet your new sister." MindProjector said. Joyful reached out for the tiny purple dragonet. Black Ice tried to stand up but she toppled over. Harbor reached out a claw and sat the tiny dragonet up. Another dragonet then came bolting out of the house. The dragonet accidentally ran into Black Ice. "Black Ice!!" MindProjector roared. The dragonet had sent Black Ice plummeting to her doom. MindProjector dove off the ledge into the ravine. MindProjector reached out and caught little Black Ice. He then noticed how she had a teardrop scale by both of her eyes. When he started to fly back up he noticed that a moon was full. The old powers. He thought. He landed with a soft  thud. The dragonet that had bumped into Ice was now being scolded by Harbor. "But mom I didn't mean to." The dragonet said. Harbor growled then she looked up to see MindProjector and Black Ice. "Seal go back to your room, NOW!" She barked. Seal ran back into the house with a sad face. Harbor hugged MindProjector. She then looked down at her dragonet. Black Ice looked back. A frown appeared on Ice's face. "Hun this might be a little random but I think our dragonet is a mind reader." MindProjector said. Harbor just stepped back and froze.
