I've just realized that I didn't write an A/N for this book yet so here it is! 

to start off, I like to write a little bit weird: I'll include repetition or misplacement of punctuation that maybe doesn't make complete sense, but is meant to illustrate the emotions my main character is feeling in the moment. that's why faster, more intense scenes might have less commas, while slower scenes will have a bunch of paragraph breaks and such. 

in this book, italicized words will be emphasized and bolded words will be A/Ns and not part of the story. anything in (parentheses) is part of the story.

you might have noticed that this story is marked as mature. I'll disclose now that there will not be any outright sexual scenes, mainly because I am a minor and don't really feel comfortable writing scenes like that, which I know will appeal to an adult audience. 

however, I do know that many (many) of the people on this website aren't thirteen, so I would like to mention that there are brief sexual mentions, common swears, and brief descriptions of violence in this book.

I know I wrote that in the beginning of the first chapter, but I thought I'd put it again in here (also, wow? those tws make this story look really dark, but I promise it isn't guys, I just read too much of the hunger games when I was little).
