Chapter Two- Creatures

(author here, this first part wont be in Scars POV but it will be following Scar)

Scar started down the ladder of Larry. He grumbled something about a 'stupid ghost', always taking up his bed. He walked around his village, checking up on his farms, villagers, and such.

All was running smoothly in Scars little-big village. He looked around, shadows of Grian's mansion, Iskall's tree, and Mumbo's futuristic towers all seemed to loom over his village. Scar didnt mind. He liked having such close neighbors.

Although Stress' base didnt loom as high as the others, it was still very close. He sparked a rocked and flew up so he could see his village from above. Landing on one of his trees, he gazed down at it. He was proud of it. It looked good.

He turned and looked at Stress' base. He flew over to it and landed on the large glass rainbow that must have taken stacks upon stacks of glass. Stress' base was very.. uh.. pink, Scar decided. It fit Stress. It looked like things she would build. Even though Scar preferred purple over pink, he still admired Stress' base.

He glided back down to his village, looking at the huge chest monster gathering outside of Larry. He needed to clean it up, but he wasnt looking forward to it. He opened one of the shulkers lying on the floor, to find it was the one with his magic crystals. Nobody believed they would work, but they were still polite about it. But maybe not Grian.

He picked up the shulker full of crystals. Scooping up anoter few shulkers full of building supplies, he flew over to his newest project. the 'Mega Big Dig'. Touching his feet down on the concrete of the build, he walked toward where he kept all the building supplies for the project. He stumbled with all the weight, and a shulker fell out of his arms and started to plummet toward the ground.

Scar put down the other shulkers and flew down to pick up the one that had fallen.

"Oh no..." Scar mumbled, realizing it was the crystals had fallen. They all shattered. He began scooping the fragments up, careful not to hurt himself, when a swirling gray portal appeared out of thin air.

POV: Scar

I look at the shimmering gray portal, amazed. Where had it even come from? It just appeared... But it was really cool. Should I ask X? He is the admin, maybe he would know...

No, I thought. I can either leave it here or explore it on my own. I wanted to explore it, of course. It didnt seem like it would be dangerous. I could always bring my armor and weapons... Just a quick peek. Then I could find X.

Should I... I mean it might go away in a while, might as well go now...

I took a step towards the gray portal. Was that... music? Yes. It was.

Well, I thought, taking off my golden boots for a shiny diamond pair. There's a magical portal with music coming from it... How cool is that! I have to go check it out!

I took another step towards the portal. I was going to do it. Mustering up all my courage, I stepped through.

Everything was... colorless. It was strange. Just shades of gray. I heard the music. Taking off towards the sound, i stopped at a tree. It was coming from just the other side...

A weird cat came up to me. It had color. I chuckled, bending down to pet it. It had beautiful silver wing on its back, and a bright yellow halo around its right ear. At least, I thought it was a halo. It started toward the other side of the huge tree, toward the music. Turning the corner, I stopped, amazed.

There were creatures. All types and all colors. The world I was in was definitely magical.

But they were surrounding something, something I couldnt see. Thats where the music was coming from. I looked back at the portal. It was still there. I needed to find out what was making the music.

I shuffled my feet. Only the angel-cat knew I was there, it stared at me with its bright green eyes. I cleared my throat and the music stopped. The animals, there must have been around seven or eight, looked at me.

"Ehh... Nice to meet you all... uhm.. what are you all?"

They just stared at me. Thats when something weird happened. I heard the voice of a woman say,

"Oh, hello! You must not be from around here."

I froze, waiting for her to show herself. Then she stood and looked at me.
