Chapter Warnings: An insane Allister uwu
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Third Person POV:
Seven figures sat in a circle in a gray field. All different shapes and sized, all special. They had one thing in common.
"Viper." The winged cat mewed. He was called Archer.
"She's been missing for two weeks-" Clover mewed, her orange ear flicking nervously.
Boom squeaked. His only form on communication was squeaking.
"Boom delivered Ruvio and Shard's letter to Viper," Sylvester informed. "She's written back to them. They both seemed relieved but still upset."
"We have to figure out how to get her back!" A dog-like creature barked.
"No need to bark, Mars," Scavenger hissed. Mars huffed.
"We dont have a clue how we might open up a portal," Frost mewed. "Or find one big enough."
The seven creatures sat in silence. Four of them cat-like, Viper always liked cats. Yet she loved all of her animals.
Clover sighed. "Frost is right. We'll just have to wait until she gets home on her own."
That last sentence set a few into chaos.
"What if she stays there!" Marks whimpered.
"Traitor!" Scavenger hissed. "She's going to leave us to die!"
Meanwhile, while Boom couldn't talk, he was letting out distressed squeaks.
"Calm down, you all." Archer mewed quietly. "Viper will come home. She won't leave us here, and we wont die."
Scavenger and Mars nodded. Boom squeaked.
Clover, the only female among the seven creatures, stood up.
"If all we're going to do is worry, no matter in us all being here while we could do other things." She mewed calmly. She was Viper's first pet, despite being only a few years old. Sylvester, despite being taken in by the flutist second, tended to be a leader among the group.
"Clover is right," The kangaroo hybrid bellowed. "We can wait for Viper to return."

Third Person POV:
A sleek figure walked with purpose through the undergrowth of the jungle. Its two bright eyes were the only light source in the dead of night. The figure itself looked like a shadow.
The spirit, despite walking on the fallen leave and dense brush, made no sound. They leapt over one last bush and touched down on a stone path. They looked around, bright eyes illuminating the whimsical houses.
Its gaze landed on a figure, that of a woman. They walked toward the figure with even more purpose than before. The woman sighed and looked over to the shadowy figure.
"What do you want?" She hissed quietly.
The spirit, instead of speaking only in her head, spoke out loud.
"You've been doing well," It hissed.
She looked confused, but gave an answer. "I haven't been doing it for you, Allister."
"Well, doesn't seem like a problem of mine. You've been helping me, despite not doing it on purpose, idiot."
"Don't call me an idiot," She hissed.
"I'm a spirit of the shifters, Viper. I can call you an idiot if I so please."
"What do you want?" She hissed again. Allister leapt up to her on the roof.
"Oh, I don't know."
"Then leave."
"Hm... Alright."
The shadow got up and walked away. Little did Viper know, he doubled back to one of Scar's village houses.
They passed through one of the doors and into a house. It was not a big house, but there was someone staying here. A dark lime bed was placed in the house. Sleeping in the bed lay a figure.
"Boo," Allister hissed as loudly as it could.
The figure woke up with a start. Im sure seeing a demon/spirit on your bed isnt a very nice thing to wake up to, because he yelled.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" He screeched.
"Oh hush. You're fine."
The figure, a scared expression painted on his face, scrambled over to the door.
"That's not very nice," Allister hissed. "I didn't even get a hello."
"Thats because your a demon!" Bdubs yelled, fumbling to open the door.
"I'm Allister," The spirit said calmly. "And the door is locked."
"Bdubs," He introduced himself wearily.
Allister didn't come to chat. No, no. Allister was not one for small talk. Tonight, he was hungry for destruction.
Swiftly, without warning, they jumped up onto Bdubs shoulder, the jump being easy with its long limbs.
"Now, Bdubs, you're gonna do what I say," Allister said in a slow, menacing tone.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Third Person POV:
Allister had rounded up Bdubs, Impulse, and Tango.
They were all under the spirits control. The spirit had not done something like this in a very long time, and, quite frankly, the fun had yet to begin.
It was almost one in the morning when Allister bounded up the stairs to Grian's mansion. The builder was up sorting chests, and froze when he saw Allister.
In a matter of seconds, his eyes turned from their brown-hazel to a dark red. Then he was following Allister down the flight of stairs.
The four hermits followed the spirit back to Scar's village. Allister had been talking to the four the whole walk there. Of course, they didn't have the power to respond.
"Im sure you four are gonna do lovely," He mewed happily. "Destruction. Oh how long i've craved it... And now! Now I have all of you to help me!"
The five figures entered Scar's village, the hermits' expressions dull. Viper saw the four pairs of red eyes and the singular pair of white the moment they came into view. She froze, watching silently as the five approached her.
"Say hello, my dearest!" Allister mewed in a freakishly happy tone. "Hasn't anyone taught you its rude not to greet people?"
"Hush, Allister." She hissed. "Can't you leave the hermits alone?"
"But I haven't caused in so long, darling! You would understand,"
"Dont call me that," She hissed.
"Oh, poor Viper, missing her boyfriend calling her darling." Allister teased.
"SHUSH! HES NOT MY BOYFRIEND YOU IDIOT-" She shouted.
"You're not allowed to call me an idiot," Allister mewed. "Thats my thing."
With a flick of their tail, Allister sent the hermits toward Viper. She hissed, being on the roof they couldn't get to her.
Oh, wait.
Shoot.
Bdubs had scaffolding.
Now all of the weaponized hermits were up on the roof with her. How lovely, am I right?
Luckily, Bdubs got up first. He wasnt the best at PvP, even with Allister's help, and she knocked the sword out of his grasp and picked it up before he could recover.
She shot a glance at Allister. All the hermits stopped. As did she.
Because now her eyes were glowing a deep red.
