I once had a dream of you.
Just you and me.
Carrying stars in our eyes,
Along the shores of our hearts.
It just remained a dream.
Now that you're not there,
What I'm left with is
shattered dreams.

close my eyes,

my world shuts
   down to the void.
   But then you had
     given me a dream,
a dream of
love & hope,
  of color and zest,
Far from the heaven,
By a little white raven.
Dream upon a dream,
   I built a ladder to the paradise,
I reached high to the stars,
  To find your absence.
     After all, what I'm left
     Now I have a dream,
     A dream which isn't
     white, or a dead black,
    The once amalgamation
     of many colors, passed
  through the prism
       of love, only to break
       into colorless shards.
   After all, what I'm left
   with is shattered dreams.
Now, I still have a
   dream, a very
distant one,
The same dream of you and me,
But not every dream is a dream,
Add memories, and it becomes a nightmare.
Funnily, I won't stop dreaming,
Because, sometimes dreams are the only things you have.
Even now, I love you so much
that I will let you go.
