Alysanne Khan has always thought herself blessed. Highborn and graced with striking beauty and a clever wit simply has to mean that the Lord of Light looks upon her with kindness, she is so very sure of it. But when she is shipped off to another continent to wed a stranger she thinks that maybe she is not blessed but cursed instead. For when Alysanne dreamt of her gallant husband he had been bright and golden like the volantene noblemen, but instead he will be dark and dark and dark.

When she arrives in Sunspear, however, it seems that her fate is not as terrible as she had once thought. Instead, she thanks the gods for their kindness.

i love my man oberyn with all my heart so this was bound to happen! okay some facts: 1. alysanne is from volantis 2. she has three older brother who are very protective of her 3. she is younger than oberyn, maybe like 20 years old 4. this plays a few years before asoiaf but not many 5. her mother died birthing her 6. she also dies in childbirth (sorry 😛) that's it have fun!!!
