The car pulled up in front of the drive, and as I was about to get out of the car I was suddenly pulled back.

I faced Lukas to see that his boyish smirk had disappeared, his menacing emerald green eyes turned serious.

He looked at me and slowly started to scan my body, up and down, making me nervous.

He paused and focused on my lips. But as much as I wanted to, I could not let this happen.

Before he had a chance to lean in I kissed him on the cheek, stood up, and got Matt out of the back seat.

As I was walking up the drive, I looked back to see Lukas staring at me contently.

I gave him a small smile, mouthing thank you as I waved at him.

He looked back at me, nodded his head, and I could see a small smile forming as he drove off down the street.

* Lukas's pov

What the hell was that?

I really need to snap out of it.

I'm no good for her, I need to stay away from her, but I just don't know how to do so.

I stared out of the window, watching as her petite figure dragged her brother up the drive and to the door. She hesitated and turned around surprised to see me still there.

She smiled at me sweetly and mouthed thank you.

Shit... She knew I was staring.

I nodded at her as I drove off down the street with a small smile.

I cannot let her get to me.

I don't get it, I've never felt anything for a woman at all.

But after a few days of knowing this girl, I simply cannot get enough of her. I need to stop this and focus on my jobs.

She's one of my students for fucks sake... *

I watched as he zoomed down the street and around the corner.

But was snapped back into reality with the groans of my brother.

"Hurry up and open the door then".

He muttered, loud enough for me, and more than likely the whole neighbourhood to hear.

I sigh as I unlock the door and get hit with sudden warmth as I step into the house.

"Man its fucking boiling in here"

Matt barges past me as he rips his shirt off, simply tossing it onto the floor as he clumsily stomps off to his room.

I laugh,

man, I forgot how stupid he acts when he's drunk.

I know for a fact he'll act all guilty in the morning.

But this reminded me, reminded me that he knows.

He knows about the underground and the basics of what I do.

So as soon as he's sobered up, I guess it'll be time to talk.

I shake off the thoughts of this and head to my room, quietly shutting the door behind me.

I walk into my bathroom and start to draw a bath, and I walk back into my room and just sit there on my bed.

As I was deep in thought I saw a notification pop up from the most unexpected person.....

Oh my god, it's none other than Arianna!

Who's Ari, you may ask?

Well, she's my best friend.

She's been visiting her family all the way in Australia, leaving me to head back into senior year alone.

But it seems as though she's coming back tomorrow, so I'll meet her off the plane.

When she's back I can head back to our new apartment.

That's right,

she promised that when she's back we will move in together, so I can get a break from Matt.

Don't get me wrong, I love my brother but he can be overbearing.

I head back into the bathroom and relax as the boiling hot water scalded my skin as I settled down.

I love this, it means I can relax without interruption for once.

I love the feeling of pain it gives me, the hot water boiling over my new cuts and bruises cleaning them out.

As I get out, I had a new message from Ari, apparently, she's gonna be here in the morning so we can go for a coffee for breakfast.

I fall asleep happy for once, happy about the thought of seeing my best friend and getting the hell out of this house.

I awoke early, well actually no, I barely slept.

I was just too excited!

I run out of the house and grab Matty's car and sped off down the street and to the airport.

I run into the airport excitedly as I see people walkout from the plane.

All of a sudden I see a bunch of dreadlocks running towards me.

As I notice who it was I ran over and as we met we fell over laughing.

But then I realize,

"Ari, where the fuck is your suitcase?!"

This made her jolt up and peer around. She spotted it wheeling away gradually, so she runs after it as I tail her laughing.

Man, I've missed this...

.....

As she had eventually caught up to her suitcase we headed to the car to go to Matty's.

As I started to drive off I looked over to her to see a giant smirk on her face.

"WHAT!?"

"Who. Is. He!?" She says, slowly to patronize me.

"Who's who"

"Oh, you know who."

She says eying me up.

"No, I literally don't."

"Well fine, KeEp YoUr SeCrEtS"

She sits there quietly whilst I drive, pouting at the fact that I won't tell her. But what would I tell her, 'there isn't really anybody but I know a hot guy who's my teacher and my rival'? Nah.

We pulled up to Matt's so I could finally get my things and move into the new apartment. I actually cannot wait to finally breathe without anybody continuously watching over me.

We walked in and ran straight up into my room and gathered what little clothing I had. She runs into my wardrobe and sighs.

"Well damn girl, ya know the first thing we are going to do tomorrow?"

"Eat leftover pizza and go back to sleep!?"

"No perra perezosa, we're going shopping!!"

Did I forget to mention that she's a shopaholic and a fashion freak?

We made our way back downstairs after she'd helped pack my stuff and we were starting to head out. But we were caught off guard by the sight of Matt standing in the way of the door.

"You were really gonna leave without saying goodbye to your big brother?"

I just ran over and hugged him.

"I'm only a half an hour drive away, I'm never too far away, I love you Matt" I whispered.

He sighs into my hair

"I love you too little brat!"

With that we left, but jeez trying to fit all of this on a motorcycle is damn hard work, nearly granted impossible.

After about a half an hour drive we park in front of a large scale building of modern apartments, I guess we're here...

We grab our stuff and go into the reception to receive our keys.

When we got told where to go we went up to the elevator, of course with me having a fear of elevators, we live on the top floor...

After what felt like forever we made it to the front of our apartment.

"You ready?"

"Of course!"

We open the door to see an open-planned apartment with a huge kitchen and living room, and a hall with 3 bedrooms, 2 that are ensuites, and a bathroom.

"Well if this place isn't cute!"

She drops all of her stuff and runs to the plump sofa, she then climbs on top of it and starts bouncing on it.

All of a sudden I heard a strange breaking sound coming from the sofa, guess what. We've been here 5 minutes and she's already broken something. For fucks sake.

"Yeah no, Ari that's now your side"

And with that I went into my bedroom and shut the door, well damn this place needs a Lil decorating done.

I actually can not believe my best friend is here now, with me. It feels like forever since I had last seen her. There's only one problem with her being here, I know for a fact that she'll want details on what goes on with my private life. But should I let her in?
