This was my first mission as a Shadow Sneak (my team name) and I wasn't going to mess it up. I been training for a long while for this and I can finally see the outside world. I was excited to take over the heart of the world. My first world was called Destiny Islands and our captain was briefing our mission and the details.

Operation: Destiny's Downfall

Heartless: Shadow
Bystanders: 3 children
Mission: Conquer the World Heart
Attack bystanders if carrying Keyblade

The first question I asked was, "Whats a keyblade?"

The captain then said, "Its a tool that takes you and me out permanently, so keep your eyes open and out."

I heard that and I felt scared that after this mission, I wasn't going to make it. I knew now that we had to kill the bystander before he kills more of us.

Our team was deployed by the main island's shore. Scouts informed us that heartless, right now, are taking the heart so all we had to do was make sure the land stayed secure and watch out for anything that can interfere with the mission.

A couple of minutes past and nothing happened. All I saw was this girl go inside of a cave, a boy walk in to that same cave and they both went flying out.

The girl was teleported from air patrol for a special mission and the boy went to the little island by the shore to meet with his silver haired friend. They started arguing and the silver haired boy named Riku turned to our side and was engulfed in darkness. The other boy named Sora then appeared with a giant key... that was held like a blad... THE KEYBLADE?!

I reported it to all the shadows around me and told them what I saw.
"The brown spiky haired boy, Sora, has summoned the Keyblade so ne careful"

"Dont worry", my leader said, "we will split to 3 groups. Team Alpha, you follow Sora, Team Beta will stay here to patrol, and Team Charlie will go help the heartless take over this world. Ok lets move!

"Captain, where do I go?" I asked

"You come with me."

Team Alpha- 1A43
"1A43, do you see him?", the Alpha leader said.

"No, I can't see him yet." I said

"Ok, just keep a close eye out. Men, stay in formation and keep your eyes out for him."

I have been in this squadron for as long as I can remember, almost as long as the Captain. After this mission, Ill be known as Alpha leader 1A43 and actually get some respect around here. My job for every mission we had was to be a scout or lookout and I can say I am one of the best at what I do. When I graduate, I specialized in the Neoshadow, one of the sneakest heartless there is, I was made for this job.

It started raining and I couldn't see much anymore but I did see a shadowy figure from the palm tree island coming towards us, and it wasn't one of ours.

"INCOMING, from the bridge!" I yelled

"Prepare for an attack." The leader commanded but the whole team was eliminated in a matter of moments.

"1A43, run and tell the others that we were no matc..." the leader said before the menace landed a killing blow through his defenseless body.

I turned flat and moved across the walls to get to the Beta team to tell them what happened.

Team Beta- 2B93
"1A43, what happened?" I asked

"We were no match and he is coming this way" she said.

"How many survived the attack?" She put her head down and I can tell from the sadness in her eyes, she was the only one that made it. I hugged her and whispered, "Thank goodness, at least you made it. I dont know what I would have done."

I'm the Beta leader 2B93 but my real name is Yukio and this is my 3rd mission being a leader. As you can tell, 1A43 and I are really close. I have been knowing her since I was in the training academy and we look out for each other. I don't know whats the name for it, but I feel like she is more than a friend to me.

I let her stay in the Beta Team even though my team didn't want her for not dying with honor with her team and the Beta team was already the biggest team right now. I heard the murmurs the team was doing so,

"Anyone picking on 1A43 or showing any bad gestures, will be demoted to a mushroom for the rest of their time in this team." Immediately, everyone stopped their murmuring and I saw 1A43 smile at me.

"INCOMING!" I heard and someone was rushing to us.

"Its him." 1A43 said

"Don't let him pass. Everyone stand your ground."

I saw the ferocity that the boy used. He took out the team with ease and without emotion.

I gave out orders, "Men, fall back, he is too powerful." From a team of 30, only 6 manage to survive including 1A43 and I. We decided to go with the Charlie group because they were the only source of backup we can rely on now.

Charlie Team- 1E01
"Whats taking so long? Is the heart not cooperating or something?" I said

"We are waiting for orders from the captain, he says that he had to do something before the World heart was taken over."

"Ok whatever but if I die of waiting, I'm blaming it on you because you wanted to wait for the 'captain's orders'. What, is he going to kiss and hug you and say its going to be ok?"

"I heard that." The captain said behind me and I felt a roast of a lifetime was going to happen.

"I'm sorry, sir, forgive me, I was just playing around. Dont make me into a mushroom, sir, please." I begged until I looked behind me and saw 2B93 doing his famous captain impersonation.

"Gotcha again." He smirked

I have been the biggest person and 2B93's best friend since I can remember. And when I mean biggest, I mean by size not fat, get it right. The only reason I'm not a leader is because I don't want to take responsibilty for others. I'm the type of person that protects himself or my friends, that's it. For being big, I specialized as a Large Body because anyone can do a Fat Bandit. Sorry I keep on talking. Whatever back to the story.

"That impression is so real, its crazy, well anyway what happened? I am fine with you ditching your post and all but in a mission this important..."

"No, the Keyblade wielder took out almost all my team. We are the only ones left."

"Since 1A43 is with you, is the Alpha team gone too?"

"Yup" she replied, "I'm all thats left of the Alpha team."

"Geez, this kid must be an emotionless, coldblooded savage. Kinda like me."

"Yeah but at least you care about your friends. This guys seems to kill everything in sight." 2B93 said

"True true, and Hey", I yelled at the once consuming the heart, "when can we take over the heart?"

"We just recieved orders to take it over from the captain."

"Finally, we can get out of this world."

The Captain and I went to the cave the little girl came flying out of. We entered the cave and I can see it was made out of pure rocks and vines with an ominous open door at the end.

I can see alot of chalk drawings on the walls and by how its drawn and since the bystanders here are children, its most likely them that drew them.

"Wait here", the captain said before he walked in the center of the cave.
"I brought her just as you ordered."

"Very good" a mysterious cloaked figure approached us. "I would like to speak with her alone now."

"Yes sir" the captain said and left the cave.

If the captain is following his orders and calling him sir, he must be really important then. If he is a higher rank than the captain, why does he want me who just started?

"Umm sir, why did you want to speak with me?" I asked

"Well 2B17, you are a very unique heartless on top of the fact you are a rank 2." He said with this ominous type of voice.

"Well yeah I know but there are many other rank 2 souls that have been here much longer than me and have more experience."

"You will understand more in the future to why you are special but just for you to be clear..." he showed a dark orb and I can see a boy killing the whole Alpha squad and most of the Beta squad.

"Oh my gosh" I gasped

"Tragic, isn't it? The boy and the keyblade killing each single heartless without emotion or mercy."

"Thats awful, someone should stop him."

"That is why you are special, young one because you will be the one that does. Right now, your captain will be given orders to turn into a Darkside and try to eliminate the boy but I can see in the boy's heart, the captain will fail."

"Then why did you send him out there to die?"

"We have already taken over the heart of this world but if we leave immediately, he will find out a way to take the world heart back with the keyblade. The only way for us to keep the heart, is to distract the boy long enough for the world to be consumed by darkness."

"Ok, I see." I said sadly looking down

"Dont worry, child, the captain is strong enough to survive the battle and you will get your revenge on the boy for all the heartless he has slain, I'll make sure of it."

Sorry this chapter took a long time to finish, I had a lot of things going on and I haven't had time to finish it.

Also, I'm doing one chapter of this fanfic and then one on my story so I'm going to be working on the next chapter to The Soul Reaper's Awakening right now. If you haven't read some already, I recommend you check it out.
