Chapter 15

Izumi's pov.

I let out a sigh as I reached the designated camp after two days of travel. There were two tents set up, and a small fire going. One man was stirring the fire while the other read over a scroll.

The one stirring the fires head snapped up, eyes searching. I couldn't see his eyes through the assigned Anbu mask, but I'm almost positive they were on me.

I let out a small gasp, barely dodging the kunai that flew past my head. If I hadn't moved, I would have been dead for sure. I jumped from the tree, evading kunai after kunai after shuriken.

I grunted in pain as one sliced the right side of my abdomen, a fair amount of blood pouring from the wound. "Damn it."

The other man stood, going to join his team mate. "Found a lost mouse, huh?" The man snickered. His team mate, the one who started the attack, nodded and raised his hand, going to remove his mask.

The Konoha Anbu mask was lowered from his face and tossed to the ground. I stared at his face for a long time, recognizing him. But not recognizing the head band. The... hidden...sky?

"You know, its amazing what you can do when you have full access to his office." The man grinned, his eyes unfocused, almost like he were insane.

"What?" I repeated, almost unsure I had heard right. "You." I pulled my mask off, my sharingan blazing as I glared at both men. "I should have known."

"A smart girl like you, indeed. You should have known." The other commented. My gaze slid his way, noting that he didn't have the crazed look in his eyes. "Now, Izumi, don't you think its time to pay a visit?"

"He's been waiting ever so patiently to see you again." The crazed one said, chuckling behind me. My head snapped to the side to catch a glimpse.

"I thought I made it clear. I refuse." I argued, jumping away from the crazed man. I readied my mangekyo sharingan, ready to finish this.

"Mm." The sane one breathed. "Sorry, little girl. That just. Won't. Cut It." I activated Amaterasu, hoping the black flames would stop them.  But the men turned into mud.

"Earth clones." I cursed. Blood trickled from my left eye as I searched the trees. I could already feel the pain beginning to flutter inside my head.

The insane one lunged for me from the shadows and I turned to run, my vision blurry. A sharp pain erupted in both my head and my side and I gasped in a breath, coming to a stop.

I can hardly feel my legs. . .

"You'll have to do better than that, girlie."The insane man snickered, wrapping his arm around my neck from behind, trying to choke me. I grunted, and kicked my leg back while my hands tried to pry his arm away. "Oi! Kazu can we just kill her?"

"No. That man wants her delivered alive. A pain, but its worth the money." Kazu scoffed. "Let's go, make sure to tie her with the chakra rope."

I felt the guy nod and his hold loosened before disappearing completely. I breathed a sigh of relief and was about to run away when my right arm was caught in a death grip, pulling me back.

"Where do you think your going, huh, girl?" The man gave a crazed smile as he wrenched both hands behind my back, wrapping rope around my wrists tightly, almost cutting off circulation. "She's tied." The man announced before placing his hands on either side of my waist, hoisting me in the air then dropping me onto his shoulder.

"Oi! Asshole! Put me down!" I annunciated each word with a hard kick. A hard slap was delivered to my rear and I let out a yelp.

"Knock it off or I'll punish you before we even get there." The man chuckled as I gasped. "I'm sure he wouldn't mind if I tamed you a bit."

"Taki, knock it off. Lord Urashi would mind if she was tamed. Especially by you." Kazu stated, giving a back glance. Taki snorted, placing his hand on my bottom again.

"But she's so cute. And wild." I shuddered in disgust as his hand started stroking my bottom.

"Get you filthy hands off me!" I aimed a hard kick at his stomach, hoping he would drop me. Chakra is out of the question since its drained, due to the ropes.

"Mm, to bad." Taki must have been grinning. I could hear it in his voice. "She's even cuter when she's riled up." He laughed.

I growled, and tried to activate my sharingan, but I couldn't. Damn. If only I could use Amaterasu on his ass! Or something!

I had a feeling something was off about this mission. Go figure. The Hokage had nothing to do with it. . . these bastards had written it and sent it. I know who they are. Kazu had played the role of assistant for Hokage-sama for three years. He was a quiet man. I never would have thought...

And Taki. . .  he was always away. . .

Damn I'm an idiot.

I let out a whimper in pain as the throbbing in my head magnified and the cut on my side began burning more so than before.

"Taki, you might want to give her the antidote to the poison. We don't want her dead. . ." Kazu grinned. "Yet."

"Fine." I felt the  sharp sting of a needle piercing my skin. Slowly, ever so slowly, I could feel my consciousness leaving me.

"Ka. . . Ka. . kashi. . . " I whispered the name as my body went limp and my eyes drifted closed, the world around me blurring, echoing, as I drifted away.

Gomenasai for the very late update!
