Just as Lizy is about to drive out, a car drive in, Gladys and Mike get out of the car. 'Where are you going to?' ask Mike. 'I am going to get some fresh air' says Lizy. 'We are coming from the hospital, let get inside and talk, Lizwe is still out there so it is not safe to go outside' says Mike. 'It will only take a few minutes' says Lizy. 'Where is Thabelo?' ask Mike. 'I don't know, they have gone out with Siviwe' says Lizy. 'And you let them go?' ask Mike. 'Mike you were home when they left' says Lizy. 'Get inside' says Mike. Lizy gets out of the car, and they get inside. 'So how is Sthandiwe?' ask Lizy. 'She is fine, and the doctor said she is getting well' says Mike. 'Call Thabelo and Siviwe to come back home' says Gladys. 'Alright Mah' says Mike taking out his phone and calling Thabelo. In the Nkosi's mansion, Thabelo and Siviwe are sitting on the couches along with AJ and Mr Nkosi. 'We have been waiting for an hour, what is going on?' ask Siviwe looking at AJ. 'I am still waiting; they will call us if they find him' says AJ. Thabelo's phone ring, he looks at it and see that Mike is calling him. He gets up and answers it. 'Dad' says Thabelo. 'Where are you?' ask Mike. 'I accompanied Siviwe to the post office, there is a letter for him that is from his school, we are still waiting, I will see you later' after he end the call. When he is about to sit down, his phone ring again, he sees that it is Ntando, he answers it, 'Hey I am in a middle of something, can we talk later?' says Thabelo. 'Is Krishi with you?' ask Mike. 'Dad, what are you doing with Ntando's phone?' ask Thabelo. 'I asked you a question' says Mike. 'No, dad Krishi is not here' says Thabelo. Mike ends the call. 'What is going on?' ask Siviwe. 'We have to go, Krishi is missing' says Thabelo. 'Alright, can you call if you find him' says Siviwe. 'We will let you know' says AJ. Thabelo and Siviwe go outside and get inside the car and drive out of the mansion.

In the Mhlongo mansion, Gladys is sitting on the couch while Mike is calling Krishi's phone. 'Nobody is answering' says Mike. Ntando come down the stairs holding Krishi's phone. 'Here is her phone' says Ntando. 'She left it at home?' ask Gladys. 'Grandma don't worry, maybe she has just gone out, she will be back' says Ntando. 'Ntando is right, you know Krishi, she always disappears during the day' says Mike. 'I have a bad feeling about this' says Gladys. 'Don't worry Mah, Lizy has just gone out to look for her' says Mike. On their way back, Thabelo and Siviwe park the car on the side of the road near a Sasol garage. 'What is going on? why are you stopping?' ask Siviwe. 'I don't think there is a need for us to go home, Krishi is probably out like she always does b...' Thabelo is interrupted by Siviwe. 'Is that not your mother?' ask Siviwe pointing to a woman who is carrying a 5-litre bottle full of petrol getting in the car and driving away. 'It is her, what is she doing with petrol?' ask Thabelo. 'Follow her' says Siviwe, Thabelo follow her, he calls her, Lizy answers the phone. 'Mom where are you? dad just called and said Krishi is missing' says Thabelo. 'I am at home, Yes Krishi is missing, listen I am busy with something let me call you later' says Lizy after she end the call. 'Why did she lie?' ask Thabelo looking at Siviwe. 'I don't know, but we will find out, maybe she is cheating on your dad' says Siviwe. 'I don't think so' says Thabelo. 

In the Nkosi mansion, AJ has just received a call that the police have found Sash, but he is in a terrible condition, he has been rushed to the hospital, but Lizwe is still on the run.  AJ call Sthandiwe her phone is answered by Gladys. 'Yes', says Gladys. 'Who is this? I am looking for Sthandiwe' ask AJ confused by voice of a person who answered the call. 'This is her mother, Sthandiwe is in the hospital she was shot a couple of days ago' says Gladys. 'Is she alright?' ask AJ. 'She is fine, who is this?' ask Gladys. 'I am AJ Nkosi, I called to let you know that Sash have been found, he is in a terrible condition, so he was rushed to the hospital' says AJ. 'Which hospital? we will come right now' says Gladys. 'No, we will handle this as a family, we would like you to give Sash space to recover' says AJ after he ends the call. 'Who is that, Mah?' ask Mike. 'It was AJ, he says Sash have been found but we are not allowed to see him' says Gladys. 'Who is AJ?' ask Mike. 'He is Sash's uncle' says Gladys. 'So, they now know that Sash is their family when he was raised by us, they have no right to stop us from seeing him' says Mike angry. 'Let it go Mike, Sash is an adult he will come back to us if he wants' says Gladys. 'What about Sthandiwe? you know this will kill her' says Mike. 'We will not tell her until she is back home' says Gladys. 'And Siviwe? you know he is out there looking for him' says Mike. 'I thought you said they are at a post office' says Gladys. 'I know they were lying Mah' says Mike. Ntando get in the sitting room where they are sitting. 'Krishi is still not back' says Ntando. 'Call your brother and tell him that Sash has been found they have to come home' says Mike. 

On the road, Thabelo is still following Lizy. His phone ring, Siviwe answers it. 'Hey Sash, has been found' says Ntando. 'Ntando did your mom say where she was going when she left the house?' ask Siviwe. 'Yes, she said she was going to look for Krishi' says Ntando. 'Alright let talk later' says Siviwe ending the call. 'She is looking for Krishi' says Siviwe. 'And the petrol?' ask Thabelo. 'Maybe she will put it in the car' says Siviwe. 'She was in the garage she could have done it there' says Thabelo. 'I don't know man, where is this road going?' ask Siviwe. 'I don't know, why would Krishi be in this place?' ask Thabelo. In Krishi's room Gladys is sitting on the bed, while Ntando is sitting on the chair. 'Maybe she ran away, she was tired of this family, just when I wanted to fix things, I lose two of my grandchildren' says Gladys. 'Grandma you did not lose anyone, Krishi will come back home' says Ntando. 'It is already late, and she is still not back, and Sash his mother's family want us to stay away from him' says Gladys crying. 'Grandma don't cry' says Ntando. 'I am sure Mhlongo is disappointed wherever he is' says Gladys. Ntando see two envelopes under the bed. He picks them up and see that they are the envelopes his dad told them to not show their grandma. 'What is in those envelopes?' ask Gladys. 'It is nothing Grandma, I will put them away' says Ntando. 'Give them to me' says Gladys. Ntando give them to her. 'How did Krishi get these envelopes? I have been looking for them' says Gladys opening the one addressed to her. 'I gave them to her, I found them in Dad's room, but mom and dad explained that what is written in there are all lies' says Ntando. 'How did they get there? and what lies are you talking about?' ask Gladys confused. 'I don't understand, they said that you knew about this which is why you did not want us to know, they told us to not tell you that we already knew about what Thabang did, and that Krishi is our sister' says Ntando. Gladys did not reply and read the letter, she started to hold her chest like she is suffocating and cannot breathe. 'Grandma' says Ntando holding her from falling down. 'Grandma breathe' says Ntando. Gladys did as she is told until she become better. 'What is wrong grandma? you know those are lies, right? dad said you knew about this' says Ntando. 'I have failed this family' says Gladys. Mike gets in, 'Do you know what happened on the blanket that was covering the bed?' ask Mike. 'Yes, I saw mom putting something covered with it on her car, it seemed heavy' says Ntando. 'Call the police Ntando so they come and arrest this man and his wife' says Gladys. 'Mom what are you talking about?' says Mike. 'I know everything Mike, how my son rotted in prison for something he did not do, how could you do this to your brother Mike?' ask Gladys crying. 'I did not know Mah, I only found out when I found these letters' says Mike. 'Why did you not tell me?' ask Gladys. 'I thought I was protecting my children Mah; I did not want them to know what their mother did, I was ashamed' says Mike with tears in his eyes. 'Call the police, and you where is your wife?' ask Gladys. 'Oh, Siviwe asked me a while back that where did mom said she was going when she left the house, now that I think about it, how did he know that mom left the house? unless he saw her somewhere' says Ntando. 'Where did you say you saw the blanket?' ask Mike. 'Mom put something in her car that was wrapped with it, why?' says Ntando. 'Oh my God, let me call the police, call your brother and ask them where they are? they have to hurry back home' says Mike. 'What wrong?' ask Gladys. 'Mah, I think Lizy kidnapped Krishi, she was the one that was wrapped in the blanket' says Mike. 'They have answered the phone dad' says Ntando. Mike takes the phone from him, 'Thabelo where did you see your mom?' ask Mike. 'We saw her at the garage buying patrol, so we followed her' says Thabelo. 'Where are you?' ask Mike. 'We don't know uncle, but aunt has gotten inside an abandoned building carrying something wrapped in a blanket, and a white lady has just got here she has also gotten inside' says Siviwe. 'That is fine, send me your location, so I can see where you are' says Mike. 'Ahh dad mom has just come out, she is holding a gun, she is taking the petrol inside' says Thabelo. 'Send your location' says Mike. 'Who is there?' ask Lizy stopping going inside. Thabelo and Siviwe are hiding behind a wall at the side of the house, they had to leave their car in the road so Lizy would not see them. 'I said who is there? show yourself' says Lizy. They keep quiet.

 Lizy goes inside. 'Quickly send the location' says Siviwe whispering. Just as he is about to send, Lizy appears in front of them pointing a gun at them. 'Thabelo what are you doing here?' ask Lizy. 'Mom what are you doing?' ask Thabelo scared. 'Drop that phone, and both of you get inside' says Lizy. Thabelo drop the phone and they all get inside, they find Krishi tied on the chair and her mouth shut with a cloth with tears all over her face, Tonia also tied on the chair. 'Mom what is going on? why is Krishi tied on the chair?' ask Thabelo. 'Keep quiet and sit on that chair' says Lizy, they both sit on chairs, Lizy ties them. 'You ruined my plans, why did you come here? it was your plan, right?' says Lizy pointing at Siviwe with a gun. 'No mom it was my plan' says Thabelo. 'Thabelo why did you come here? what am I going to do now? I have to burn these three or else I will be in trouble, what am I going to do with you?' says Lizy. 'Lizy, you have the letters now, let us go' says Tonia. 'I have to burn you with them' says Lizy. Taking petrol and pouring it on Krishi while she is crying. She pours it on Siviwe, and on Tonia. 'Mom please don't do this' says Thabelo crying. 'I don't have a choice Thabelo, if I don't do this I will be arrested, I have to get rid of everything that ties me to the incident that happened 15 years ago' says Lizy. 'Mom everyone has forgotten about it' says Thabelo. 'They have not, your grandma wants these letters, Krishi and Tonia know too much I have to get rid of them, you, you should not have come here' says Lizy pouring petrol on Thabelo. 'Mom please don't do this' says Thabelo crying. 'I have to do this' says Lizy pouring the petrol around the room, they are in. She opens the letters and see that there is nothing written on them. 'What nonsense is this? where are the real letters?' ask Lizy. 'They are at the Mhlongo mansion, Krishi never gave them to me' says Tonia smiling. 'Shit' says Lizy taking out the cloth from Krishi's mouth. 'Where are the letters?' ask Lizy. 'I won't tell you' says Krishi. 'You will tell me' says Lizy taking the lighter and bringing it closer to Krishi. 'Krishi just tell her ' says Siviwe. 'But if I tell her, she will kill us' says Krishi. 'I will kill you even if you don't tell me, it will be easy to look for them in your room' says Lizy. 'Uncle knows that we are here with you, so if you kill us, he will know it you' says Siviwe. 'Your uncle loves me; he will understand that I did what had to be done' says Lizy. While they are talking, the police have surrounded the house. 'Mrs Mhlongo, we are the police, are the people inside with you alright?' says one of the police. 'How did they find this place?' ask Lizy. 'Mrs Mhlongo just let everyone go, nobody has to get hurt, we can talk after you have let them go' says one of the police officers. 'I am in trouble' says Lizy going near the door that is at the back of the house, she gets out unaware that the police are there, they catch her and arrest her. The other police get inside and untie them after they take their statements they take them home. 

At the Mhlongo mansion, it is around 10 pm Thabelo, Siviwe and Krishi have just gotten home. Gladys is talking to them. 'Mike is coming back home, Lizy has taken the blame for everything that happened' says Gladys. 'Krishi I am sorry that you had to find out everything like this, I thought everything Lizy said back then was the truth, I am sorry that you had to find out about your father after he is no more, I am sorry for the way I treated you, I realise now that it was wrong to take out my anger on you' says Gladys. 'It is not your fault grandma; you did not know' says Krishi. 'From now on your father's picture and yours will be on the wall with other pictures of the family members, I want to fix things, I want you to feel like a member of this family ' says Gladys. 'Thank you, grandma,' says Krishi. 'Siviwe, I know I have been a terrible grandmother to you and your brother, I want to change that, you are welcome to stay here for as long as you want, this house belongs to all of you as the children of this family, I am sorry to say things that made you feel unwelcome' says Gladys. 'It is alright grandma' says Siviwe. 'Go and sleep in your rooms, we will talk tomorrow' says Gladys. 'What about Sash? where is he?' ask Siviwe. 'He is in the hospital his uncle is taking care of him' says Gladys. The children all go to their rooms to sleep. In Thabelo's room, he can't sleep, he is still in shock of what happened, he is sitting on his bed. Enter Ntando, 'What are you doing here?' ask Thabelo. 'I can't sleep' says Ntando sitting next to him. 'How did the police find us?' ask Thabelo. 'They tracked your phone, what happened there?' ask Ntando. 'She wanted to burn us, I have never seen mom looking like that before, it was like she had lost her mind' says Thabelo about to cry. 'She was not going to do it right? she was just scaring you' says Ntando looking at Thabelo with tears in his eyes. Thabelo does not respond, Ntando cry, Thabelo hug him. 

The next day, Sash wakes up and see an unfamiliar room, he sees Gladys, Sthandiwe and two man he does not know. 'Mom' says Sash. 'Sash you are awake, how are you feeling?' ask Sthandiwe. 'Where are we?' ask Sash. 'We are in the hospital' says Sthandiwe. Sash sits up on the bed. 'Who are these people?' ask Sash. 'This is your uncle and grandfather' says Gladys. 'I don't understand' says Sash. 'Sash, your mother is my sister, this is our father, your grandfather, we are here to take you back home' says AJ. 'I don't understand, which home are you talking about?' ask Sash. 'Home, your mother's home, if you don't want to stay with us that is fine, you can stay in one of your mother's houses, it is time you get your mother's belongings' says Mr Nkosi. 'What? you abandoned me, what make you to think I want anything from you?' ask Sash angry. 'We did not abandon you Sash, your father threated us when he was arrested that if we ever got close to you, he would get rid of your mother's ashes, which is why we took you back to Sthandiwe' says AJ. 'What?' says Sash. 'It is true Sash, even today we don't know where your mother's ashes are, she had stated in her will that she wanted you to scatter it in Europe, she had no idea she would die while you were that young, we just wanted to honour her wishes which is why we did not go against your father' says Mr Nkosi. 'It is true Sash, Lizwe is an evil man, he made sure we all suffered while he went to jail' says Sthandiwe. 'So, you did not want me? you just had no choice?' ask Sash. 'No Sash, I loved you but when your father was arrested we all thought it was right for you to stay with your mother's family, it what your mother would have wanted but when Lizwe forced you on me, I thought maybe it what your mother wanted, I love you Sash, you are my son and I raised you as one' says Sthandiwe. 'Thank you, mom,' says Sash. Sthandiwe and Sash hug. After they all go out, Siviwe get in. 'How are you feeling?' ask Siviwe sitting on the chair. 'I am fine, except that I have just met my other family' says Sash. 'So does that mean you are leaving?' ask Siviwe. 'Leaving? I don't know man I am still processing all this' says Sash. 'A lot happened while you were sleeping, Lizy has been arrested' says Siviwe. 'Really? what happened?' ask Sash. 'It is a long story' says Siviwe. 'I am so angry right now, being here made me lose a lot of drama' says Sash. 'Did he hurt you?' ask Siviwe. Sash does not respond, Siviwe does not say anything because he thinks maybe Sash does not want to talk about it. 'I thought he was going to kill me, but what scared me the most is the thought that nobody was coming to rescue me' says Sash with tears in his eyes. 'I was so terrified, he made me believe that nobody cared about me and that no one was going to be sad if he killed me' says Sash crying. 'I believed him, I really thought I was going to die and that nobody would care' says Sash crying. Siviwe hold his hand. 'He was lying, we all were worried about you, we were looking for you' says Siviwe hugging him. 

After one week, the elders are talking in the Mhlongo mansion. 'Mah, I sold my house in the other province, I bought another one here in Joburg, I am leaving with my sons I think we need a fresh start this place has really bad memories for us' says Mike. 'I think that is a good idea, at least you will be close to home so you can visit anytime, what about Thabelo did he agree?' ask Gladys. 'He thinks it is a good idea, I think he agreed because it is close to here so they can meet anytime with Sash, Siviwe and Krishi' says Mike. 'What about Sash has he decided if he is leaving?' ask Gladys. 'I don't know he has not said anything to me' says Sthandiwe. The children are sitting in Thabelo's room talking, 'I am going to miss the drama that always happened in this house' says Ntando. 'When you visit, you will find it don't worry, we can never get tired of performing in this house' says Krishi. 'And you Sash? have you thought about the offer your grandfather gave you?' ask Thabelo. 'Yes, and I have decided that I am not leaving, it just does not feel right to go and stay with them, I don't know them, I will only visit them' says Sash. 'I am so happy I was so scared that it will be the two of us as children in this house' says Krishi looking at Siviwe. 'Don't be too happy what if they decide to move out and stay on their own next year' says Ntando. 'They won't do that to me, they will wait for me to finish school then we will all move out' says Krishi. 'You are crazy' says Ntando laughing. 

After two weeks Mike has moved out with his children, the book that Thabang wrote is the best-selling book right now.  Krishi got a call from Tonia telling her to come and see her, and that she must come with Sash and Siviwe because she needs them to help her with something. They park the car outside, they find the door open, they get inside confused. They go up the stairs and when they get inside the sitting room, they find Tonia sitting on the couch with Lizwe standing behind her and pointing the gun at her. 'Lizwe' says Sash and Siviwe surprised and terrified at the same time. Krishi is looking at Tonia who is sitting down looking at them with an apologetic face. 'Sit down' says Lizwe pointing the gun at them.
