Kevin stood in horror as he watched Joaquin's lifeless form fall to the ground. "You bast-" Kevin stopped short when gargoyles began closing in on him.

"Why did you kill him he didn't do anything" Kevin growled. "He betrayed us and let the gargoyles down" a member spoke.

"You people kill other people." Kevin retorted "as do the serpents it's all in the game of life." Another gargoyle member spoke. "You people are sick. You're killing innocent people and for what?" Kevin asked looking at them.

"Revenge" a gargoyle spoke smirking. "Back down Tall Boy and let Kevin go" Sweet Pea's voice echoed through the forest as he came face to face with the former serpent.

"I don't play by the rules Sweet Pea" Tall Boy tisked "neither do I but put the boy down and take me instead." Sweet Pea offered.

"Absolutely not" Fangs diagreed "you take him, you take me. Serpents don't stand down." Fangs demanded facing Tall Boy.

"You mess with the serpents you get the venom." Cheryl seethed walking out from behind Sweet Pea. "You take him, all of us go." Toni glowered at Tall Boy.

"Serpents don't kill." Jughead seethed glaring at Tall Boy "guess you missed the memo" the once quiet forest filled with pained yells as the gargoyles and serpents fought each other.
