A hiss of rejection erupted from Joaquin's throat "let me go" he growled lowly as he tried shaking himself out of Betty's hold. "Not until you calm down"  Betty replied sternly. "You heard her snake, calm down" Kurtz snickered. Joaquin threw himself forward before Betty pulled him back. "He isn't worth it Joaquin let's go" she told her friend as her eyes glared towards Kurtz before she and Joaquin began to walk away.

"Always backing away from a fight. I feel bad for Ricky, the boy was right you don't care for him" Kurtz shrugged a small smirk on his face.

"You bit-" Betty twisted Joaquin's arm back. "Don't you ever talk about Ricky like that. He will never be like you!" Shouted Joaquin.

"Of course he will. I became his family the day he came to this forest." Kurtz retorted. "I've been his brother for 14 years" Joaquin shot back.

"Have you though?" Kurtz crossed his arms. "You never were there for him were you?" Kurtz asked.

"I was helping him out." Joaquin retorted. "By leaving me?" Ricky asked "it was for my own good Ricky" Joaquin told him "as if! You left me forever ago. Why should I trust any of you. If you weren't there for me why should I be there for you?" Ricky asked as he stood next to Kurtz.

"I will change Ricky" Joaquin pleaded. "I've heard that before. Why should I believe you?" Ricky asked crossing his arms.
