It was pitch black. It reminded Biana of the hundreds of times the Neverseen kidnapped her friend, Sophie, and drug her. She wanted to get far away from this place, but she knew she couldn't. She was, after all, the one who signed up for the blind date.

She was overthinking this. It was just a date. A simple date except for the part that she couldn't see anything and that she had no idea who this "Boy" was.

At that moment she almost forgot that he was there until he said "Hi."

Biana didn't know what to say back except for "Hi".

No one said anything. Biana could have sworn she could hear her own heart pounding.

It was a long, painful silence as they both just stood there awkwardly not exchanging a word for several minutes.

Biana eventually was not nervous anymore she was more annoyed.

After a while, Biana finally broke the silence by yelling "We can't just stand here all day while people are just watching us, I've got things to do after this."

She couldn't believe she said that.

"Yeah, I was going to say that too." Said the boy.

Biana just rolled her eyes ( but of course he couldn't see that).

"So, first things first what's your name?'

"Tom." Replied the boy.

Biana was not expecting that. Tom is a very popular name for humans but she decided not to say that.

"Nice, name." She said as she waited for him to ask her the same question.

But he never did. Biana, already annoyed, got more annoyed to a whole new level.

"Well, my name is Biana."

"Nice." Said Tom.

Biana wasn't sure if she liked this Tom.

"Maybe we should go sit at the table and eat some food." Biana suggested.

"That would be good, just one question: how are we going to make it there?" Asked Tom.

After a few falling over and tripping over their own feet they eventually got to the small table.

Biana spread her hands over the table until she touched the plate where food laid on top.

She took a big bite not minding her manners ( since he couldn't see her, after all). She knew exactly what she was eating.

"Mellowmelt." They both said at the same time.

"It's my favorite." Said Tom.

"Same!" Said Biana as gooey cameral slid down her chin.

Her mouth and hands were all icky after the yummy dessert. Fortunately there were napkins.

"That was delish!" Said Tom.

"Yes, it was." Said Biana.

They both seemed to be in a much better mood and Tom seemed way less shy then earlier. They both had a nice chat together. She learned that Tom had one sister ( in high school) and that he loved animals.

While Biana told him quite a few things too, including her annoying brother (Fitz) and some of her problems at school. But of course she couldn't tell him everything, like how she is part of the Black swan and how she is best friends with "The Moonlark" and how she might have a slight crush on one of her friends, Tam. Now that would be super awkward.

But it wasn't like she would ever see him again so it didn't really matter. Plus she never met anyone with the name Tom. But he was super nice. He would laugh at all the jokes she made and all together they got along fairly good.

If it wasn't for Juji's voice, they could have talked for hours.

"The blind date is officially over." Called Juji from somewhere in the room.

Somehow the three matchmakers were suddenly in the room and started shoving Biana out. Once the door shut they pulled off her blindfold. The light dazed her for a second. She got so used to the dark that she had to flutter her eyes before completely opening them.

"You did awesome!" Said Cerio.

"Now the question we have all been waiting for!" Said Brisa.

Biana held her breath wondering what they would ask.

"Did you fall in love?"

Biana was puzzled for a second. "Did I do what?!" Asked Biana as she hoped she misheard her.

"Did you fall in love?" Repeated Brisa.
