Knock Out finished his repairs on Starscream some hours later and the seeker was currently in power down and would come back online anytime.

When the others got back. The red medic was glad to report that even though it was touch and go for a while Starscream was going to be fine after a few weeks of rest.

Which they were all glad to hear. But unfortunately they hadn't had any luck in finding Megatron.

"Hopefully Starscream will be able to tell us something when he wakes up." Said Bumblebee.

"Yeah I just hope we don't find Megatron in the shape Starscream was in. Or worse." Ratchet told them.

Just then the seeker started to stir and slowly opened his optics. And tried to raise up only to be gently pushed back down.

"Ep ep ep." "You just went through quite an ordeal and need to rest." Ratchet told Starscream.

"But Black Shadow still has Megatron!" Starscream started to protest.

"And we'll get him back. But the last thing he'd want is for you to over do it and get yourself killed." Ratchet explained.

"Guess your right." Starscream said laying back on the berth. Because to spite wanting to save Megatron from Black Shadow Starscream couldn't deny how tired and out of it he still felt.

"Glad your gonna be OK Starscream you had us scared." Knock Out told his friend.

"Thanks for saving me and getting me here so fast." Starscream thanked the cherry colored medic.

"Anytime Screamer." Knock Out replied.

Unfortunately Starscream couldn't tell them where Black Shadow was holding Megatron since he had been unconscious when he was first brought there and when he escaped before being shot down everything had happened so fast he hadn't been able to get a fix on his location.

And they could all tell Starscream was beating himself up about it. And they were all worried when the seeker told them what shape the old warlord had been in. And that he currently couldn't transform.

"I should have stayed and help him fight." Starscream said letting his wings dropped. "There's no telling what Black Shadow is doing to him right now."

"No Starscream I saw the amount of damage done to you." Knock Out told him. "If you had stayed you would have been killed."

"But I should have at least figured out where he was being kept." Starscream explained. "Megatron sent me to get help and I couldn't even do "I really am a failure."

"Starscream your not a failure you did everything you could." Bumblebee told him. "And I don't think Megatron really wanted you to get help I think he wanted you to get to safety."

"Black Shadow tried to get me to team up with him he said he wanted to get at Megatron by torturing me and Soundwave in front of him." Starscream explained.

"Then maybe we have a shot at trapping him if Soundwave is up to it?" Bumblebee suggested coming up with a plan.

"I will do it if it will save Megatron." Soundwave agreed.

"Very well then we will set a trap for Black Shadow using Soundwave as bait." Said Optimus. "We will put a tracker on him so we may follow Black Shadow."

"That's a good plan." Starscream agreed.

"You just take it easy for now and rest in the medbay." Ratchet told Starscream. "Your still recovering and need to rest and get your strength back."

"Don't worry I'll stay in case you need anything." Knock Out told him.

"Thanks." Starscream replied. He really wanted to be part of the plan and help Megatron. But he didn't argue knowing he did need to let himself heal and in his current condition he'd just be a liability.

Then the others went to get ready to put the plan into motion and let Starscream rest.

Meanwhile Megatron was still strapped down on the berth and was relieved to see that Black Shadow hadn't found Soundwave yet.

But then Black Shadow decided to beat the former leader of the Decepticons some more.

And made a point to targeted some of his wounds. And the former gladiator now letting out grunts and fighting back cries of pain.

Megatron couldn't help wondering if this was what Starscream had felt when he beat and mistreated him throughout the war. Thinking about the seeker hurt more then any of the blows he was currently receiving.

"Are you willing to make the ultimate sacrifice?" Megatron remembered asking Starscream when he wanted to test the dark energon he found to see if it could reanimated the dead.

It didn't come to that but Megatron had been perfectly willing to kill Starscream. He had constantly threatened the seeker with death when he wasn't beating him or using mind games to break him.

And the worst part is the threats had come true Megatron had killed Starscream true it was Black Shadow who shot the seeker down but it was Megatron jumping him at the wrong time in the wrong way that had caused it to be a lethal hit. (Or at least Megatron thought it had been a lethal hit.)

All he knew was he kept hearing the seeker's screams and seeing him crash over and over again in his mind.

But was suddenly brought back to reality when he heard a beep and saw a sinister smile appear on Black Shadow's faceplates.

"My sensors just pick up Soundwave's signal." Black Shadow hissed. "I'll go capture him then you'll have quite the show of watching him die."

"No please don't!" Megatron was now pleading with him. "Soundwave has nothing to do with this!" "Please don't kill anyone else!" "No one else has to be harmed!"

Black Shadow was now smirking pleased with the fact that he had reduced Megatron to begging. But the former gladiator's pleas fell on death ears.

Megatron saw Black Shadow start to head for the door. He was leaving to capture Soundwave so he could force him to watch him die the way he had been forced to watch Starscream die.

And Megatron didn't want that to happen he didn't want anyone else to die because of him. Megatron somehow managed to break his restraints and the next thing he knew he was lashing out at Black Shadow and beating the scrap out of him to spite being in a would of pain from his injuries.

But unfortunately Megatron didn't have the upper hand for long.

He suddenly felt a sharp pain in his midsection and looked down to see an energon dagger that Black Shadow had just stabbed him with suddenly and roughly get yanked out of his midsection as Black Shadow kicked him to the floor.

Fortunately it hadn't hit his spark but Megatron quickly realized something disturbing he couldn't move. Then Black Shadow went over and welded the stab wound shut so he wouldn't bleed out but didn't bother to shut off his pain receptors and only did it so he wouldn't die before he was finished with him.

After seeing Megatron had been seriously injured and immobilized Black Shadow decided to just leave him laying on the floor while he went to capture Soundwave.

"No please don't do this don't hurt anyone else!" Megatron scream after him from his spot on the floor. "BLACK SHADOW!!!"
