Starscream rushed to where Knock Out's screams were coming from and got there just in time to see a predacon who he remembered was named Backbite with Knock Out's leg in his teeth.

The poor medic had tried to flee into a cave that was too small for Backbite but hadn't been quick enough and the predacon had clamped it's teeth around his anklestrut and dragged him back out by it.

Then in a desperate panic Knock Out tried to activate his saw only for Backbite to toss him to the ground ripping his leg off and throwing it aside. Then he continued to attack Knock Out while he was down.

Knock Out started to activate his drill only to have Backbite sink his teeth into his servo causing him to cry coolant tears of pain then the predacon slammed him into the ground a second time.

Then stopped him a couple of times and started digging his claws into him. Starscream had frozen in terror but see his best friend dazed and his energon spilled snapped the seeker out of it.

Starscream fired his missiles at Backbite and got his attention.

"Hey over here you stupid beast!" Starscream yelled at him. "Catch me if you can monster!"

Backbite snarled at the insults then took off after the seeker who started running as soon as he knew the predacon was chasing him hoping to lead him away from Knock Out.

Starscream was still in no shape to fly but he was determined to save his friend so he just ran as fast as his legs would carry him. But Backbite was catching up to him fast.

The Starscream got an idea and started running to where he and Knock Out had landed when they fell of the cliff then fired one of his missiles into a hole then out came a swarm of scraplets without stopping Starscream made a U-turn and managed to slide under Backbite then jumped back to his peds and ran the other way.

Before Backbite could follow him the scraplets went after the predacon finding him more interesting then the seeker since he was larger and would make a better meal. Backbite was actually doing a good job of fighting them off. But Starscream didn't stick around to see who won.

He had to go back to see if Knock Out was ok.

Starscream walked around for what felt like hours having lost track of where Knock Out had been.

"Knock Out!" He kept calling the Austin Martin's name hoping for a reply. But so far wasn't having any luck.

When suddenly he tripped over something and saw that it was Knock Out's leg that the predacon had ripped off him. Then he spotted the cherry colored mech still laying where Backbite had left him.

"Knock Out!" Starscream shouted running over to him. Then the seeker was horrified to see how serious the red medic's injuries were.

He was covered in dents and scratches as was as some cracks and some of his wires were exposed and had sparks coming from them and he was leaking energon in places and he had gone into emergency stasis lock.

"Knock Out I'm so sorry I froze I should have intervened sooner." Starscream said to the red medic with coolant tears in his optics.

"It's ok I know your afraid of predacons." Came a weak reply. And Starscream notice Knock Out had just come back online but the red sports car's optics were dim and he looked and sounded dazed.

"Knock Out I need your med kit and I need you to talk me through fixing you." Starscream told his friend determined not to let him die.

"OK It's in my subspace." Knock Out said opening it the Starscream got it out and turned off Knock Out's pain receptors once the medic told him how then got to work fixing him as he told him what to do.

Starscream managed to weld him so he wouldn't bleed out and got some energon in him to replace what he'd lost. But then the trouble started.

Starscream tried to reattach Knock Out's leg only to realize he put it on backwards then he somehow turned on his radio and couldn't get it to turn off again.

"What's going on where the music coming from?" Asked Knock Out.

"You I accidentally turned on your radio and can't get it to shut off." Starscream explained. "And I may have put your leg on backwards."

"Oh scrap I'll be walking in circles." Thought Knock Out.

Then Knock Out tried to tell Starscream how to correct the mistake only for the music to be playing so loud the seeker couldn't hear him.

Then he accidentally got Knock Out's headlights to start blinking on and off even blinding himself a few times.

"You did this to me." Knock Out deadpaned.

"This is why your the medic and I'm not." Said Starscream. But neither of them could hear the other one over the music and Starscream was now in tears. "Oh why do these things always happen?!"

Fortunately Starscream had done a well enough job so Knock Out wasn't in danger anymore he just couldn't move and the music and flashing headlights were driving both mechs nuts.

Meanwhile Megatron was still strapped to the berth when Black Shadow came in.

"Time to go into stasis Megatron." Black Shadow hissed as he give him a circuit booster.

"No!" Megatron groaned knowing whatever Black Shadow was going to do to him while he was under wasn't going to be good.

Megatron struggled to stay awake but ultimately fell into forced recharge. Then Black Shadow got out some surgical tools he had stolen.

And got to work while the former leader of the Decepticons was unconscious.
