I tried to keep myself behind clouds, as to not be seen by Muggles. I knew the way to the Leaky Cauldron in London. Every so often I would dip under the clouds to check that I was going in the correct direction and changing my course ever so slightly.

I landed silently on the balls of my feet in the back area that led to Diagon Alley. Quickly tapping the bricks with my wand to create the archway to the wondrous magical village. Glancing around, I sighed in relief that it was early enough that no one was about. I dashed down the street to the end, walking into the marble doors of Gringotts Bank.

I walked up to the nearest reception goblin and said confidently, "I am here to speak with Korgnuk about my Creature Inheritance."

The goblin almost fell out of his chair when he saw my appearance. "Y-Yes of course, Sir! I will get Korgnuk immediately, Sir!"

I nodded in thanks. I stood there for a few minutes, waiting for the goblin to come back. When he returned he said, "Please follow me, Sir. Korgnuk will see you now."

He motioned for me to follow him, which I did. He led me down twisting hallways that I couldn't make sense of until he stopped at a delicately carved oak door.

"Enter this room, Sir. Korgnuk is waiting for you."

"Thank you, kind goblin."

The little goblin looked startled at my kindness and quickly scurried off. I took a deep breath before pushing the beautiful door open. Korgnuk was sitting at an oak desk that matched his door.

"Welcome, Sir. You have come so that we can discuss your Inheritance?" He asked. I nodded in reply, sitting in the single chair that was in front of his desk.

"This may become complicated, I would just like to administer this warning." I nodded again. "Now, if you would please, let seven drops of blood fall upon this parchment." Korgnuk pushed towards me a silver dagger and a large piece of parchment.

I let out a slight hiss of pain as I cut my right index finger and waited until seven drops had fallen. I set down the dagger and the cut healed itself. Amazed, I watched letters appear on the paper.

I stared in awe at all of the things I didn't know about myself, or my heritage. My real name is Hadrius? How did I come to be the heir and lord of all Four Founders? Slytherin is understandable, but the others? Vol-Tom Riddle is my father? How are my godparents are Malfoy's mum and dad?

My head was spinning. I held on to the edge of the Head Goblin's desk and took slow, deep breaths. I looked up at Korgnuk, who was watching me carefully. He removed the top piece of parchment. I wasn't even aware there were more than one. I took the paper in my hand, bracing myself for more astounding information.

I had to sit down now. This was all so much. I had heard about Draco Umbraes, and the rarity of them was one in ten generations. All of my enhancements. I had a mate. I leant down to put my head between my knees to calm the nauseous feeling coursing through me.

Once I felt a little bit better, I looked up at Korgnuk and whispered, "How did I not know about all of this?"

Korgnuk simply tilted his head slightly and handed me the third and final parchment. I quickly read it, fury causing my body to shake as I read on.

I sighed shakily. I had to take a few minutes to let all of this new information sink in. The man that I trusted for 7 years seems to be the person who I needed to be distrusting the most. Finally realising something, I looked up again and asked the goblin, "Do you know where I can find my father?"

Korgnuk sighed and shook his head. "I am very sorry, Mr. Riddle, but I do not know your father's whereabouts. However, I have been told by him that if you ever needed a place to stay, to send you to Malfoy Manor."

I nodded, unsure of my feelings towards the home of my former enemy, Draco Malfoy. I gave Korgnuk a small smile. "Thank you very much, dear goblin. I appreciate your help greatly."

He offered me a small smile in return. "There are few wizards who treat our kind with as much respect as you. I am happy to help in any way."

"Just because you are a different species does not mean that you have any lower intelligence than I. Thank you again, I must go visit my godparents and apologise to them."

He nodded as I stood and exited the room. I found another goblin waiting for me outside. He led me back out to the main hall where I let myself out. The street was busier now, so it was hard for me to disguise myself. Thinking quickly, I grabbed a stone from the ground and used my new magical abilities to Transfigure it into a large, hooded black cloak. Keeping my head down, I led myself into a darkened alley and took off into the sky, which had gotten more cloudy in the time I was in the Wizarding bank. I started towards Malfoy Manor, in hopes of reconciliation and explanation of myself with my family.
