My mind was boggled. Words flowed in and out like nothing. I was confused and guilty. I have no idea what to do, even if I do have a plan. He'll be here in a few. Then it'll be over. I'll finally win and no one will doubt me like all those years ago.

~Flashback~

"I told you to leave me alone!" I pushed her onto the ground and made my hands fists.

"I...I'm sorry...Zane why are you like this?..." She started to sniffle and cry like a child. I had no emotion or care for anything. My mind was set straight for one thing and one thing only.

"This is me! If you don't like it then why don't you just leave! You don't even belong here anyway! Your an outsider! A piece of scum that was picked off the streets and turned into gold! No! Your still dirt and you'll always be that way! No matter what!" My voice projected louder and louder with each angered sentence. She started to get up and sniffled. She looked down. The only thing you saw was her small mouth and a few tears that still hung on her face.

"You know...your right...you'll never change...your just a scum bag like me! Someone that doesn't belong in this family! Lucky for you, it's just me and you left in this family! You want to stay this way? Fine! I'll leave after your ceremony. Have fun without me. And even though Garroth and Vylad aren't here, I'm still glad because they don't have to see such disgusting behavior coming from the next lord." She turned around and walked away.

~End Of Flashback~

My mind was empty. My heart told me I was guilty. My heart told me to run up to her and hug her like a real sibling should do. Did I do that? No. I just stood there and kept my ways. She left soon enough just like she said. That day something took over. A darkness of some sort. But I didn't know what it was. I still have feelings but never seem to show them over my new personality.

There was a small rustle through the bushes. My senses came to attention. Lillian pulled out her sword and got ready. Out of the bushes came Garroth the man of the hour. Just in time.

Ok guys so this isn't the last chapter! If you haven't guessed it yet this was placed in Zane's point of view as he is waiting for Garroth to come with the relic that Laurence possessed with him to keep it safe. Now the war isn't over.
