Why does Dante have to do this everyday? Patrolling is SO BORING!!!! Plus why do I have to do this anyway? I'm not a guard!

~Flashback To 10 Minutes Ago~

"You are now a villager or contributer to this village!" Dante said smiling. I then hugged him.

"Thanks Dante." I said thanking him. He smiled.

"And I said contribute. Which means you get to go on patrol like me!" I then raised an eyebrow and looked at him confused.

~Reality~

And now I'm here! Doing this! For what reason? Nothing! No reason at all! He's starting to act like dad! Oh your gonna be just like me when you get older! Do the same thing I do!

Then I stopped. Tears started to tear in my eyes.

Mom.....Dad....

I wiped away the tears then toughened up. I can't let anyone see my weak side. I continued my route heading straight for the gate. I saw Brian and Grey Wind guarding the wall.

"Hey Brian!" I said waving at him. He looked down from the top of the wall.

"Oh hey Y/N! You patrolling?" I nodded.

Grey Wind barked happily. I then started to head back to the Guard Tower. I climbed up the ladder and found no one there.

Huh weird. They are usually up here.

Cake's P.O.V
"Garroth. You have to know where he is." I said. I was concerned. I knew Vylad was still alive. No matter what people said!

"I'm sorry Cake. Vylad was told to be dead years ago. You know that." I nodded.

"Yeh....I know...But I still believe he's alive somewhere!" I said. A tear fell down my face.

"I know you do. And I believe too it's just...I have other matters to attend to right now. I have a lord and a village to take care of. And you know that Zane knows we're here. He's going to target us sooner or later." Garroth then walked off with his sword on his belt. I gave a deep disappointed sigh.

Well that didn't help. At all.

I then had an idea. I knew where he was.

Y/N's P.O.V
I had finally finished my rounds. It was so boring! So I decided to do something that wasn't boring. I decided to take another walk in the woods. But this time with someone else. Just in case that thing doesn't happen again.

I walked to the guard tower and went up the ladder.

"Laurence? You up here?" I called out. No answer. Huh weird. I was about to go back down when I heard a voice.

"Laurence isn't here ya know." I went up the ladder again and looked around. There was no one up here. "Laurence won't be here anymore."

"Who's there? Show yourself!" I quickly took out my sword. There's was a strange maniacal laugh.

"Why would I show myself? Your just a child. A small innocent little minded child." Then there was purple mist that formed in front of me.

A man of gray appeared. He had white hair and purple horns on his head. His skin was gray and his eyes were purple. They glowed brightly.

"Who are you?!" I asked again. The man just laughed evilly.

"Child. You would never understand. I'm a demon. The son of the one and only Demon Warlock of course." A dark smile crept across his face.

"T-Travis?" I looked next to me and found Cake standing there. A tear fell down her face.

"There is no more Travis child. Just the Demon Warlock."

"Travis! Listen to me! You don't have to be like this! You have to fight it! Don't make me do what I have to do." Cake threatened.

She took out her sword and pointed it at the man. I didn't know Cake knew him. It still confused me. The son of The Demon Warlock? The man then disappeared. And Cake relaxed. I then remembered what I was gonna do.

"Hey Cake. Did you wanna go on a walk with me? So we can get to know each other better ya know?"

"Sure. But can we walk to a certain place? I've been meaning to visit a certain place." I nodded.

~Time Skip~

"We're almost there. Put your hood up. You'll need it."  I quickly pulled my hood up. We walked through some woods. Then I remembered this is the path I took away from O'Kasis.

Where was she taking me?

We then went off the path. We turned a corner. I tripped on a root and fell. I quickly got up and ran around the tree. Yet I found no one.

"Cake? Ya there? Cake?" I searched around the tree but found no Cake.

"Psst! Up here." I looked up and found Cake in the tree.

"What are you-"

"Shh! Quickly get up here!" She the pulled me up and we hid in the branches.

"What's-"

"Shh! Look!" She pointed in the direction of another tree.

A girl with black hair and blue eyes stepped out from behind the tree. She wore a dark purple hood. She looked like a jipsie girl.

A hand was then clasped over my mouth. I couldn't say anything. I looked over at Cake and saw her asleep with a muzzle over her mouth.

Cake...

My vision then went black. I had blacked out.

Zane's P.O.V
"Your both coming with me. My princess." I grazed Y/N's cheek with my hand. It was warm. These two will be great hostages.

That Lord Aphmau won't know what's coming. She won't be prepared.
