Back to school today. It's almost everyone's fear. School. I'm sitting in vamp's car. He's taking me. Niamh went to Daniel's house for the night. I hope he hasn't told her who I am. What I am.

"Hey Dusty you need to leave." Said vamp as he pulled me out the car.
"Oh right. Um bye." I said as I grabbed my bag and left.

I saw Daniel and Niamh walking up to class and run to them. And scare Niamh. She jumps and I laugh so hard.
"That's so not funny!! Why did you do it!?" She shouted while hitting me.
"Why not. It was funny."
"Yeah. It was." Daniel joined in.

Niamh sighed then muttered,
"Boys." I then grabbed her hands behind her back.
"Are boys really that bad?" I asked. She nodded trying not to laugh.
I let her go and kept on walking.

"So Danny what are you doing today?" I asked.
"First I've got double maths then double English. After that I've got science and orienteering then lunch. After lunch more orienteering then I have geography." Daniel said with a sad look on his face.

"Cheer up mate. I've got science and orienteering with you. Have you done it before?" I asked.
"No. It's a new subject." Niamh butted in. "There is also a brand new teacher. I wonder what they'll be like." I just smiled.

We finally made it to our lockers. Mine was on the other side to theirs. I did my code. 24-1-21 and it clicked open. I got my books and headed off to my first lesson. History.

I met back with Daniel and Niamh at orienteering. I'm not really fond of this but I've never done it before. I don't think anyone has.

We all entered the classroom together. It was unlike all the other classrooms. It was dull and empty. There were no seats and no tables. The only thing in the room was a desk and laptop. Also there was a teacher. He didn't really look like he was in a good mood.

"Hi. Sit down on the floor." He said with a strong American accent and husky voice. We sat at the back in the corner away from everyone because I was thirsty. Thirsty not for water but for blood.

When the last student walked in the teacher stood up and walked to the front of the class.
"Hey. My name is Mr. Pete but call me Tom. I don't really want to be here and I can tell you don't either. I've talked to the principal and he's agreed to let me let you walk around the town for our lessons. You must be back after the lesson after lunch."

I was so happy. I jumped up and grabbed the other twos hand and pulled them both up. They smiled at me and left. As I left I looked at the teacher. I swore I saw a tinge of red in his eye. Almost like he was whet wing contacts but never mind. I've got things to do with my friends.

First I ran at human pace to my locker. I grabbed my blood smoothie and my money. Then I ran and met Daniel and Niamh at their lockers.

"Hey what ya drinking?" Asked Niamh.
"Um raspberry smoothie." I lied. She made a face and grabbed my hand.
"I'm going to take you and Daniel to the park."
"Why?" I asked.
"Well it's fun. Also I love ducks." I just laughed. I could tell she wasn't lying by her emotions. She was so excited.

"As long as we can stop by the shops."
"Why?" She asked confused.
"Well what if the ducks are hungry? We should get them some bread."
"I've got no money though." Said Niamh sadly.
"But I do." I said smiling. She copied me but her smile was much bigger.

All three of us walked out of school and made our way to the shops. We were joking and laughing all the way there.

When we arrived Niamh had a cut on her knee. I was happy I brought my smoothie with me because if I didn't then I'd would've eaten her.

"Hey Danny I'll give you some money then you can go and get Niamh cleaned up." He just nodded.
"But I want you Dusty." Wined Niamh.
"It'll be quicker if I get bread. Trust me." I said as I shoved money into Dan's hands then ran off.

I walked through the bread isle and grabbed a loaf. I also decided to grab some food for Danny and Niamh because they had no lunch. I paid and ran off to find the two.

I found them sitting on a bench together laughing. Niamh had her head rested on his shoulder. I knew they were brother and sister but I still felt jealous. Jealous that Daniel could have Niamh forever. I knew that the feeling I had was wrong but it was the truth.

"I've got the bread. Let's go." I said walking away. They both caught up with me.
"What's up Dust-Dude?" Asked Niamh.
"Oh nothing."
"You seem a bit blue."
"No I'm fine." I said putti gin my very convincing fake smile. They both smiled back but Dan did a fake smile. I think he knew what was wrong.

It was a lovely day and I was at a lovely park. I gave Niamh the bread. She took it and happily skipped over to the pond. All the ducks swarmed her like she was famous.

Soon she came back with the bread.
"Could we head back. I have food in my locker." Was what she said before I laughed. I don't know why. To be honest many people looked at me as if I was insane.

"Sorry. Um? I've kinda bought you guys food." I said still laughing.
"Really!?" Shouted Daniel. I nodded
"I bought some cheese and crackers. Then carrot sticks and some dip. I also got you guys a water. If it's not enough I could go back."
"No that's enough. Thanks Dusty." Niamh said hugging me. I couldn't help but smile.

I looked over at Daniel. He was smiling too. He made a love heart shape with his fingers. If vampires could blush I would right now.

Slowly the sun comes out from behind the clouds. I knew I had to leave.
"Dan I don't feel well. I need to leave like now!!" I shouted as I ran off. I knew I couldn't leave but I had to. If I didn't Niamh would find out what I am. Who I am. A monster.
