It's been a week since I've seen Niamh. A week since I told her. A week since she found out what I was and I was worried. She hasn't talked to me. I decided to text her.

D: Hey
N: Hi
D: How are you?
N: Alive. What about you?
D: Half alive.
N: Why!?
D: I'm a vampire. Im half alive.
N: Hahaha. You scared me for a second.
D: What!?
N: Yes I still care
D: =}
N: Do you want to meet up?
D: Um? Sure. Where?
N:   Sunlight meadow?
D:   Cool. When?
N:   12:00
D:   Sure. See you then.

I was nervous. I had about half an hour to get ready. I can't call it a date because she will probably be all angry but it doesn't mean I can't look nice.

I got ready and I came downstairs about to leave when Hyde threw a basket at me.
"What's this!?" I asked.
"Food."
"Why?" Hyde sighed.
"Vamp told me. I've made you some food and put a mat in there."
"Oh thanks." I said quickly before running off.

I took the shortcut and got there just in time. I saw Niamh walking in from the other side so I quickly set up. There was no one else here which I was happy about. In the end it took me about ten seconds.

Niamh approached cautiously but she was feeling amazed.
"Wow!" I just smiled. I don't think she got over the fact that I was not human but vampire.

"Did you make this all f-for me?"
"Well hyde made it." I smiled as I said that. A real smile. She plunged forward and hugged me.
"I missed you." I whispered.
"It's been like a week but I guess I missed you too." She laughed.

I sat down on the mat thinking that she'd sit opposite me but instead she sat on me.
"What!? You looked cold." I couldn't help but laugh. Not at her but at her pathetic excuse. I'm not complaining though. It was a wonderful feeling.

"So are you going to eat anything?"
She asked.
"I'm a vampire not human remember?"
"I know but I've seen you eat human food like the pizza and the smoothie." I just sighed.

"It wasn't really what you think. All the food I ate or all the drinks I drunk had some form of blood in it. For example the base of the pizza was blood while yours and Dan's were tomato sauce." I said smiling. She just nodded.

"Now that I know are you going to eat me?" Asked Niamh. I just laughed.
"First off vampires don't eat people we drink their blood. Second off Daniel's known for ages." She gasped.
"And he didn't tell me?!" She shouted angrily. I couldn't help but laugh. She slapped me but not in the face but on the arm.

We sat in silence for a while as Niamh was eating. She then unexpectedly put her hand out to the side then started make Ng this with her fingers.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"I'm making shadow puppets." She said cheekily. I just laughed.

"How come you don't have a shadow?"
"Um? It has to do with the soul and how the venom after you've been bitten rots it away."
"What your shadow?"
"No silly! Your soul." I laughed.

"But how does that effect your shadow?"
"What you humans don't know is that a shadow is made from the light reflecting off your soul. You only burn when your shadow is weak."
"Whoa!" She said. I just laughed.

"So how fast are you really?" She asked. Ugh! Why so many questions?
"Wanna see." I said pushing her off my lap as I stood up making her scream.

"What are you doing?"
"Racing you. Now come on and stand up."
"It's not my fault someone pushed me onto the ground." She whined.
"Oh yeah? Well it's not my fault you fell in love with a monster." I whined back making her stand up leaving the topic behind her on the floor.

"So where to?" She asked. I just pointed to the tree furthest away.
"What!? I won't be able to run that far."
"Well you won't even need to run half way." I bragged. She just rolled her eyes.
"Okay. Well... Go!" She shouted and started to fun full speed. I just laughed at her human speed.

As usual I was right. Before she reached half was I was already there.
"Told you!" I shouted to her. She rolled her eyes and started on her way back. I ran at her and grabbed her but as soon as I picked her up I was back.

"Okay one more question."
"Ugh so many questions." I said dramatically.
"Whatever. Anyway would you ever change me?"
"What do you mean?" I asked but I think I know what she meant.
"Into a vampire." She said.

I had to think hard about this one but soon came up with an answer.
"I will probably........"

Ha. I'm a mean mean person. That's the end of the book but I'm thinking about writing another book.
