"Hey vamp I need to go somewhere."
"Where to?"
"I'm sorry I can't tell you."
"Fine. Be back by seven and make sure nobody finds out."
"Okay. See you vamp." Then with that I ran back out to Niamh and Dan.

We arrived Niamh's house at about twelve.
"Okay I'll ho knock. You guys hide somewhere and then Daniel you come in in about three minutes okay." I said.
"Yep. This better work." Said Dan
"Don't worry. It will." I said as I walked up to the door.

I knock rather loudly and someone came to answer.
"Hello sir. May I come in?" I asked as politely as possible.
"Why?"
"I want to talk about Niamh."
He just sighed and stood aside.

I walked in and sat myself on one of his couches. He sat opposite me.
"What is it."
"Niamh has well attacked me." I said. I saw Dan out the window and slightly nodded. He then came rushing in.

"Dad Niamh is annoying me." He said in the most perfect voice ever. I decided now would be a great time to start recording.
"Okay Daniel. Just thwack her around the face that should shut her up." Said the rude man.

He turned back to me.
"Carry on." Was all he said. I nodded.
"I saw she was sitting alone so I walked up to her. She then just slapped me across the face."
"And? That's your fault for walking up to her but don't worry. I will punish her." This was what I wanted to hear.

"What will you do?" I asked.
"If she's lucky I will hit her or kick her. I would usually make her touch burning metal or cut her. If she is really doing my head in I will pull out some of her hair until she screams and then hang her by her writs. Once I even slammed her arm in the door!!" I just looked at him in disbelief.

"Okay thanks sir. I better be getting back. My parents will be wanting to know where I was." I said as I stood up. My phone fell out of my pocket. The one I was to record it all.
"What the bloody hell was that young man!?" He half asked half shouted. I looked at him.

"Oh this?" I said picking up my phone.
"It's called a mobile phone."
"I know what it is!! I want to know why you have it!?" I couldn't believe how dumb he is.
"I use it to contact my parents just in case I go in some violent mans house like yours." I said.

I decided now would be a great time to run out the door.
"Niamh! Daniel! Quick we need to leave!" I yelled while laughing. They looked at me then saw their dad chasing me. I guess they thought it would be a great time to run as well.

"What!? You two were in on it!?" Yelled their cruel dad.
"Yes dad. I was in on it. I guess you won't be able to hurt me anymore." Shouted a very happy Niamh.
"Oh I will!" He shouted before he stopped.

We ran to a cafe and sat down at a table.
"So what do we do now?" Asked Daniel.
"Well I have nowhere to go." Said Niamh. She was still giggling.
"I was thinking you guys would like to come back to my place. You could meet my adoptive mother and father."
They both nodded.
"Well I'm going to the toilet. See you in a minuet boys." Said Niamh a she got up to go to the toilet.

Daniel looks at me and smile.
"I know you don't like me that much but I'd like to say thanks. Thanks for helping my sister." He said as he put out his hand. I shook it.
"I just need to ask one thing."
"What is it?"I asked about nervous.
"What are you going to do when she finds out your a vampire?" I sighed a sigh of relief.

"I will give her some nice jewellery."
"Why!?" Asked Daniel laughing.
"Well if a girl is ever angry at you give her some  jewellery."
"Cool. Thanks Dusty. I will use that trick myself if you don't mind." I just smiled. This made me think. Which girl was angry with him. Just before I was going to ask Niamh came back.
"Should we get going?" She asked smiling.

"Okay guys. This is my house. My adoptive mum is called Hyde and my adoptive dad is called vamp."

I opened the door and Hyde came walking to us in her normal form.
"Hey Dust-Dude. Oh who's this?" She asked looking at my two friends.
"This is Niamh and this is Daniel." I said pointing at them as I said their names. Hyde hugged them both. Niamh loved it while Daniel looked a bit uncomfortable.

Vamp walked in. I knew he could see what I was thinking so I sent him a few messages. He just nodded. He then dragged Hyde out of the room.
"Sorry vamp is just talking to Hyde quickly." I said.

We stood there for awhile until vamp came back.
"Hey. So is anyone hungry?" I nodded along with everyone else including Hyde.
"Okay. Jam sandwich. Do you all like jam?"
"Yes. We love jam thanks." Said Niamh. 
"Hey Dusty I think you should give them a house tour." Hyde said.
"Okay."

I showed them around the house. In most rooms Niamh would gasp.
"I don't really see why you find my house so amazing!!" I said when we walked back to the kitchen to get our food.
"Well it's nothing like my house. I stay in my room mostly. I'm scared of my dad. I can't wait till he get taken by the police."

Daniel looked scared for a second.
"What's up Dan?" I asked. He looked at me. I just smiled.
"Well who is Niamh going to stay with. I mean like her mum isn't here anymore and her dad will get arrested."
"I recon she would stay with you." I said.

Hyde then came and placed a hand in Daniel's shoulder.
"She is also welcome here. You are too. Anytime. You can think of us like your second family." Daniel looked up at her. He had this spark in his eyes.  A spark I have never seen before.

Vamp came and gave us our jam sandwiches. Well jam for them. I have blood. Animal blood of course. It gets me through the day.

"So kids are you sleeping here tonight?" Asked vamp.
"I will. I kinda have no where to stay." I looked over at Dan.
"I guess I could stay. I'll have to call my mother though."
"That's cool." I said and handed him my phone. He walked out the room.

"So guys what's the plan for tomorrow?" Asked Hyde.
"Well Hyde sorry to break your heart but we were planning to go to the police station. We need to report Niamh's dad." I told Hyde.
"Okay. I'll come but how will the believe you?" She asked.
"Well I recorded our conversation with him."

This was when vamp stepped in.
"What!? You went to some random persons house without me knowing!?" Shouted vamp.
"No vamp he was abusing Niamh. Niamh can you show him your arms?" I asked. She nodded slowly.  I read her emotions and I could tell she was having flash backs.

Niamh rolled up her sleeve. She had all these horrific scares and scabs.
"Oh honey." Said Hyde. "Oh sorry. I mean oh Niamh." Niamh just giggled.
"It's fine. You can call me honey if you want. No one ever has. It's kinda nice to have someone who cares."

Hyde stood up and walked over to Niamh. Then she hugged her. Hugged her really hard.
"I care. In fact we all care. You are welcome to stay as long as you wish. Along with Danny. I'd like to welcome you all to the family."

I read Niamh's emotions. It was like an explosion in her head. An explosion of happiness. This made me feel two things. Happiness was one. Love was the other. Yes that's right. I think I'm in love with Niamh. All I know is one day she will find out about my secret and I'm not sure what she'll do.
