Lucinda POV

I returned to mother's castle in tears. "Lucinda what happened?" mother said, "its (y/n) h..he rejected me! I did exactly what you said and he still chose her! M...mom a..am I unlovable?" I cried, then mother slapped me, "Lucinda don't talk like that! The only thing I hate more than failure is when someone gives up." mother said, I put my hand over where mother had slapped me. "If he does not love you then become someone he will love." mother said, "h...how?" I said, "Lucinda you are my daughter, but you are also a grimm. Unlike every other grimm in existence, I had given birth to you as apposed to crawling out of a pool of pure darkness. That means you have some of my power." mother said as she placed her hand on my cheek. "Now prove to me that you are worthy of being called my daughter and show me that you can get what you want on your own and with your own power." mother said I nodded and concentrated I looked deep within myself to find this power that I had deep inside me. And when I finally found it I unleashed it.

(y/n) POV 

Blake and I took Sky to Atlas so she could get professional help for her PTSD. We lived with mama Winter while we were in Atlas. Sky seemed to be getting better, but one knock at the door changed all everything. When I answered the door I found mom standing there. I pulled Negistigma from its void and switched it to scythe mode and disattached the pole and  and switched it from a spear to a high impact rifle. I opened the door and pointed my gun at mom "you better have a good reason for being here! Do you have any idea of what kind of hell you put Sky through?!" I yelled, "I.. I'm sorry I came here to make up with you. But I see now that is impossible, I've failed as a mother, I'm sorry I failed you." she said tears streaming down her face, I sighed "I'll trust you for now but I wont hesitate to put a bullet in you if I feel like you are going to turn on us." I said, mom nodded in agreement. "(y/n) who's at the door?" mama Winter said as she walked downstairs caring Sky, "GRANDMA CINDER!" Sky yelled as she turned into a kitten and back and ran to mom and hugged her mom hugged her back. I heard Blake run downstairs weapon in hand, I motioned to her that it was ok.

"(y/n) who is this woman?" Blake said, "this id Cinder Fall my adoptive mother." I said, both Blake and mama Winter looked shocked. I had told them stories about her before, but they had never imagined this beautiful young woman who couldn't have been older than thirty five to be my adoptive mother.

We all sat down and talked, "so how old were when you adopted (y/n)?" Winter asked, "let's see, if I remember correctly I was about nineteen or twenty years old when I took him in and a few days later I officially adopted him." mom said, "you were that young?!" Blake said in shock, "your one to talk getting pregnant at seventeen." mom snarked, Blake laughed a bit. Sky Sky looked very confused.

Eventually we got to the topic of what moms job was and I knew that this would end badly. "I was the one responsible for the fall of Beacon, but just know I only did it to protect the ones I love!" she said, Winter pulled Sky in close to her. "WHY ARE YOU HERE?! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA OF WHAT SKY WENT THROUGH THAT NIGHT!" Blake said grabbing gambolshroud and switched it to it's gun mode. I was about to stand up to defend mom, but she got up and walked towards Blake and placed the barrel of the gun on her chest. "Shoot me if that will make you feel better, but know that if you do then nothing will change. Sky will still be in danger. You and (y/n) will live in constant fear of if that day would be Sky's last. And know that if you kill me then (y/n) will never know the truth." she said and Blake put her weapon away. "Fine you win, now tell (y/n) the truth!" she said mom just nodded and sat back down. All attention was on her, no one spoke a single word not even Sky. "You all have heard something about Summer Rose. But do any of you know how she died?" mom said, "she was killed during a mission." I said, "that's only half right. The truth is she was murdered during a mission, I know this because I was the one who killed her." mom said and an eerie dread fell upon the room, "(y/n) I had no idea who you were when I first found you, but the first time I saw your beautiful silver eyes I instantly knew that you're Summer Rose's child. I decided that by raising you I could repent for what I had done, but I was wrong I only made your life worse. Please don't hate me I beg you please." mom said with tears in her eyes. "M...mom I couldn't hate you. Sure I'm shocked that the woman who raised me and who I called mother was the one who killed my birth mother, but I could barely remember her when you found me." I said, "Blake if it's alright with you I want mom to be apart of Sky's life." I said, Blake looked over at Sky and saw that she was wearing the necklace that she was given by Cinder almost a year ago. Then she sighed and nodded in agreement. "Great, but I have some conditions for you. First you have to give up your life of crime, second you will live with Blake and I so we can keep an eye on you until we can fully trust you, and finally I want you to tell everyone except Sky everything about her and her plans." I said, mom wiped some tears away and nodded in agreement.

Winter POV

I didn't like (y/n)'s decision to allow Cinder to be apart of Sky's life. But when Cinder told us her true motivation behind the Fall of Beacon it became clear that she was a caring mother and grandmother who only wanted to protect her family from Salem in the only way she could. After learning this I decided that I would give her a chance at redemption.

Sky POV

Mama had sent me to my great grandparents house while they figured things out with Grandma Cinder. I was told I had only been over at my great grandparents house once before but I was barely three months old at the time so I wouldn't have any memory of it.

When I arrived at the "house" I found myself standing at the doors of a huge mansion. I knocked on the door a few times and a man in a black and white suit answered. "Ah you must be Sky Winter called and told us you would be coming. I'm Klein the Schnee family butler." he said politely as he led me inside.

As Klein was giving me a tour of the mansion we passed by a room, I could hear yelling from behind the door. "I DON'T CARE JAMES THOSE WHITE FANG SCUM HAVE BEEN IMPEDING BY BUSINESS FOR FAR TOO LONG NOW YOU WILL DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!" a very angry man yelled, "We'll discuss this further another time, my great granddaughter is coming to visit and I simply must see the little brat that allowed Winter's bastard stepson into the family fortune." he said, I got mad more mad than I had ever been before in my life. I barged into the room and saw two men inside, one was a tall man with black and grey hair and the other was an older man with pure white hair and a matching mustache, "DON'T TALK ABOUT MY DADDY LIKE THAT!" I yelled, the tall man placed his hand on my head "I'm sorry you had to hear that, I'm General James Ironwood. And you are?" he asked, "I'm Sky Fall." I said, he looked at me and then he noticed my necklace, "that's a very interesting necklace Sky where did you get it?" he asked, "my grandma gave it to me. It's my favorite necklace." I said, "WINTER GAVE YOU THAT?!" the old man yelled, "no Grandma Cinder gave it to me." I said, "well it's very pretty Sky." Mr. Ironwood said, "Yes its very pretty and very dangerous! Do you have any idea of how dangerous that dust is?!" the old man said, "why would you care, if daddy says its fine then its fine and my daddy is a far better man than you." I said, "oh and how would you know that." he said, "because my daddy is the strongest person on remnant and from all the stories Grandma Winter and Auntie Weiss told me." I said earning an intrigued look from the general. Then a person who looked like Auntie Weiss walked in. "Auntie Weiss!" I said as I hugged the person who I thought was my aunt. "Auntie Weiss you look different." I said, as I said this they slapped me causing me to fall to the floor, I began to cry "DON'T EVER CONFUSE ME WITH MY USELESS EXCUSE FOR A SISTER EVER AGAIN YOU INSOLENT BRAT!" they yelled, the general picked me up and comforted me, "Whitley that was going way to far! She didn't know who you were, and besides she's only a child and children make mistakes that's how the learn and grow." Mr.Ironwood said, Whitley got a disgusted look on his face, "children need strict discipline and punishment for their mistakes!" Whitley said sternly and the old man smiled, "I was wrong," I said, "my daddy's not just a better man then you he's a better man than both you and Whitley combined!" I said and my eyes turned red which earned a startled look from the old man. "You brat! I have half a mind to-" "to do what hurt me? Go ahead hurt me, but when you do and my daddy finds out you will have to deal with him and the last times I saw my daddy fight seriously he cut both arms off a man and cut the head off another man." I said interrupting the old man, "your scared of my daddy aren't you that's why your not going to lay a hand on me." I said, "from what I've seen I don't think Sky would be very safe here under your watch Jacque so I'll be taking her with me, and Whitley next time you try to hit her just remember she has a necklace with a blue flare dust crystal pendant." Mr. Ironwood said as he set me down and walked me out to his private bullhead.

(y/n) POV  

"That was James he took Sky with him after she was assaulted by Whitley and was almost threatened by my father." mama Winter said pinching the bridge of her nose. "WHITLEY DID WHAT! I SWEAR IF HE HURT HER I'LL KILL HIS CROSS DRESSING, STUCK UP, SELF ENTITLED, PUNK ASS" I yelled and my dark aura activated. "I'm going there to find out everything that happened and if Sky really did get hurt then there will be blood." I said opening a void to the Schnee mansion.

"JACQUES! WHITLEY! YOU HAVE THREE SECONDS TO TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED TO MY DAUGHTER OR ELSE!" I yelled, "I don't see why your so upset I just taught the little brat a little lesson in etiquette and respecting her betters." "That's the thing Whitley your not her better now tell me did you hit my daughter!" I said, "and if I did?" he said, I drew Negistigma from its void, "if you did then there will be blood! No one and I mean NO ONE hits my child especially not a self entitled prick like you!" I said, Whitley snapped his fingers and several Atlesian Knights surrounded me, "I figured you would be violent so I took some precautions." he said, I nodded and called Winter "Hey mama Winter tell James that he'll be down about fifty maybe sixty Atlesian Knights." I said and then hung up. I slashed and destroyed more than half of the robots, and did the same to the rest. "Your turn Whitley." I said with a dark and sadistic look in my eyes, he ran off like the coward he is. I walked and switched my weapon to Neo Shadow Fang, "Whitley come out, come out where ever you are." I said as I dragged my dagger against the wall then I heard a door slam shut and lock. I switched back to Negistigma, "I've been DYING to try out my new ability! Thanks for volunteering to be a test subject or should I victim!" I said as I switched Negistigma into its scythe mode and once the shift was complete the Axe blade manifested. I walked over to the door Whitley was cowering behind and slashed the door in half. "HERE'S JOHNNY!" I yelled menacingly. I placed the blade beneath Whitley's chin and against his throat, "now Whitley give me one GOOD reason why I shouldn't kill you." I said, "b..because w..were family." he said, "ah, fair point except were not but you know who is family and is ALMOST as pissed at you and your poor excuse of a father," I said forcing him to look me in the eye, "your sisters all I have to do is open a void and let them have their fun. And I will but not before I teach you a lesson personally." I said as I reverted Negistigma into its base form and put it back into its void and drew Neo Shadow Fang and infused a void into its blade, the blade turned a deep black and a red glow formed in the bevel of the blade. I cut both Whitley's cheeks in one fluent motion, then slashed behind me launching the void from my blade. Then Winter and Weiss stepped through the void, if he thought what i did was bad then he's in for hell with them. "Now time for Jacques." I said as I left the room.

I walked to Jacques' study and saw Klein, "hey Klein is he in there?" I asked, besides Winter and occasionally Weiss Klein was the only one who was nice to me, he nodded "thanks Klein." I said and he walked away. I kicked open the door and threw my dagger at Jacques, but before it could hit him I opened a void and caught the dagger then I opened a second void above his desk firing the dagger into the center of his desk breaking it in half. I retrieved my dagger, "threaten my daughter again and the next thing my dagger stabs will be you." I said, Winter and Weiss waked in and I opened a void home.

"So how did it go?" Blake asked, "no ones dead if that's what you mean." I said, "how you get away with treating them like that and are still in the family fortune is beyond me." Jaune said, "It's simple they learned that when I get mad at them the should run as fast and as far away as possible. Now I'm going to go get Sky." I said opening a void to Atlas Academy.

A/N: OK another chapter down! I hope someone gets the references I made. And I wasn't exaggerating when Sky said her father was the strongest man on Remnant . There are very few people who can actually hold their own against the reader and they are the maidens, Lucinda, Salem, Qrow, Raven ,and Ozpin other then them even holding WAY back like less than five percent of the readers full power its almost guaranteed anyone else will die.

I hoped you enjoyed Whitley's "punishment" I had a lot of fun turning the reader into a horror movie villein for a bit. I also hope that you enjoyed seeing Sky's slight character development, she is slowly developing her father's cockiness and overconfidence.
